The Most Asked Prebuilt Gaming QS: I Got 1k plus, maybe another £50...

Posted 6th Feb 2023
The idea of this discussion is so i can point people to the most asked QS( i get inbox)
and this will help with ideas of the current ways within the prebuilt market atm. (edit it accordingly)

1) Main stream 6Core 16gb + max GPU per budget.
2) consider 6750XT which allows more budget into the 8c/32gb (raw miner loss and loss of Nvidia)
3) consider 3060Ti which allows more budget into the 8c/32gb (keeping Nvidia with miner loss)
4) taking 2/3 back in to 6cores 16gb for people sub 1K

Is any ddr5 pre builds worth getting at the moment?

People are getting good pitch deals at palicomp on their INTEL HELLFIRE (ALD1)

Board/Ram exchange into that range, my advice is to email them at sales@palicomp.co.uk and ask for the cost of their current range - I got the feeling they don't have mass stock on the boards before Xmas.

they have just gotten this: AMD BEST BUY at £1275

    • AMD Ryzen 5 7600X - 6 Cores - 12 Threads 4.7/5.3Ghz
    • ASUS PRIME B650M-A WIFI
    • ADATA 16GB DDR5 4800Mhz
    • ADATA 1TB XPG S70 Blade nVME
    • NVIDIA RTX3070 8GB
    • GAMEMAX F15M Mesh RGB
    • CORSAIR TX750 Gold PSU
    • MICROSOFT Windows 10/11
    • BE QUITE COOLER

for a 7600/3070 vs elsewhere smashing.... bang on part rate.
+6000MHZ could do with working on in the upgrade "order 4800mhz, work on management deal to get it nice id say"
even full cost 6000mhz still beat others..

but the thing is(for me): for £1275

    INTEL HELLFIRE (ALD1) £999.99 +225 RTX3080 + 40 BE Cooler +30 TX750 = 1295

    • INTEL 12400F 6 Cores - 12 Threads 4.7/5.3Ghz
    • ASUS PRIME B650M-A WIFI
    • ADATA 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz
    • WD SN770 1TB nVME
    • NVIDIA RTX3070 8GB
    • GAMEMAX F15M Mesh RGB
    • CORSAIR TX750 Gold PSU
    • MICROSOFT Windows 10/11
    • BE QUITE COOLER

12400F+3080 for the cost of 7600+3070

If we add backdoor GPU if need be to the 7600

    7600 = £1275(3070)
    +225 for RTX3080 =1500
    +350 for RTX4070ti = 1625

    12400F = 1295(3080)
    -225+350 for 4070Ti = 1420

palicomp clearly got a end of line clearance on 12400F hence the gap is wider to 13400F which is common
    +80 u add that to the £1420 4070ti 12400F = £1500..

we could get 13400F/4070Ti at £1500 under the same set up cost as a 7600/3080

now obvious the 4070ti is still under ddr4 16gb and ddr4 board, but i feel if u pitch them, u would be under the 7600/4070Ti. at 1625

its a smashing price non the less compared to other prebuilt without a doubt.
    - but atm...... it needs a good kick up the rear to my deal. - I'm holding.

and the same message with the other firm. i suggest if ur seeking a new generation. just hang on a bit or pitch them. (edited)

I’m so completely lost in a world of HUKD posts and deals - have talked myself in and out of numerous purchases by having absolutely no knowledge about what I’m reading!

The cheaper 6750 xt deal is out of stock as of the past hour or so, I had it in my basket yesterday and checked today and out of stock

I'm about to pull the trigger on the Intel Hellfire with RTX 3070 to RTX 3080 + £225, TX750 + 30, 13400F + £86, BQ Pure Rock + £40. Gives a total of £1381. This seems a good deal. Thoughts guys? Seems reasonably future proof. I mostly do sim racing and MS Flight Simulator. Grandkids play Fortnite, although I will keep the PS5 for that. Want to have the option of triple screens later. Also want VR capability. Choosing a gaming pc is a minefield!

great post. This is exactly what I'm looking for right now. At the moment I'm undecided between the hellfire with 16gb and 3070, and the velocity with the 5700x 32gb and 6750. I'm not convinced the 3070 will provide me personally with much difference over the 6750: I probably won't notice much with the games I play....
Not sure I like the MSI cases either.. are AWD open to switching them out ??
    Decisions decisions...

Hi - you did this amazing work 2 weeks ago - is it all relevant still or has anything popped up or changed in the last 2 weeks? Been looking for a few weeks and just want the “best” I can get for around £1000. Thanks

    Refresh version in bound soon.

    Hopefully tonight.

Same old situation with a few adjustments.

At the 1050 I'd say we could do a backdoor palicomp 3060ti via 13400f in it.

AWD 3070 5600x can be cpu dropped to 5600

Hmm I'm so confused lol, what's the difference between these, what are the pros and cons of each please?
  16. Ollie93's avatar
@Sarden84 have you looked at gaming pcs from Very? Currently they have a 20% off code. Are any of them worth a punt? I just wanna play starfield at 60 fps in 4k goddammit! Bought a series x for that very reason now its gathering dust!
