Im after a smart plug that when I plug something in, it will only go on for 4 hrs. I don’t want to open any app everytime I do this, I just want it automated. Any idea?

Those old school mechanical switches are £5 in B&Q. Although most smart plugs can be scheduled if you bother to RTFM...

Depending what you want to do if you have Alexa you could set up a routine with the plug so ask it to switch on light (for example) and then the routine would turn off after 4 hours

This might be the way forward. Old school mechanical timer switch Make a portion of 4 hours on and then just turn it around to start there when you need it.
(this is just an example from Argos and you wont need the 3}
I have 3 x Meross smart plugs and use them all on a schedule. 2 I use for my internal cctv, they are scheduled to turn on when I leave for work and then off as i arrive home from work. 1 I use for my washing machine and dryer as I have scheduled to come on during Economy 7 times and then switch itself off.
