Hi, can someone recommend an SSD gaming purposes to connect to my current system (Asus PRIME B350M-A Motherboard).
The Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 (up to 3.500 MB/s) NVMe M.2 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) looks like it connects directly into the mobo whereas my current SSD connects with a cable.
I'm confused by the number of connection options. According to the mobo spec, there's only one connection for an SSD, which I already have for my boot up/OS drive. Presumably, therefore I'd have to go for the PCI type SSD?Please advise. Thanks.

I want to connect another SSD.
I think you're saying I CAN connect another SSD with a SATA cable.
My original question was slightly different but anyways...

Generally SSD and HDD primarily refer to the storage technology internal to the drive, not how the drive interfaces with the computer, so it would be unusual to have such a requirement.
