AMD 7 5800H vs Intel Core i7 1255U

Hi All,

Looking to buy a laptop and stuck between the above 2 processors that are within my price range.
Both laptops have 16GB RAM and 512GB HD - Laptop will mainly used for admin, backing up phone etc but may play Age of Empires if I feel nostalgic

I'm still trying to understand all the benchmarks but I think overall AMD is better but i7 is newer, but any advice would be much appreciated
