Apple developer accounts now free (New Option for Developer Accounts)

Posted 6th Jun 2023
As above
If you have an Apple ID, you can now install Apple's developer betas for free! Previously, you needed to pay $99/year for the Apple Developer Program in order to gain access these betas.

Better article on it than the linked one in the post that doesn't say anything about the changes

Beta's are beta for a reason, expect issues and performance hits.
Not to mention Betas contain way more diagnostic data being fed back to apple, so unless you are developing an App dont install a beta

Yeah agree with this and to add this is a developer Beta so there are likely even more bits that aren't unpolished.

I set the profile to iOS 17 but changed it back. I can wait for the public beta next month.
