Are there any TV experts here?

Twenty years or so ago, I used to watch a programme similar to Race Across The World. There were still teams of two, but there were more teams taking part and the last team to arrive at each check point were eliminated.

I thought it was a better show than the current incarnation but can't remember the name. Can anyone help me before I drive myself insane?

Well, it's all based on a long-running US show called The Amazing Race i believe, maybe it was that?

Second that it's race across the world ... Currently watching the latest US version. Unsure what channel it's on (we're watching it thanks to a friends plex server). (edited)

Amazing Race. It’s a us program use to be able to watch it on I’m tv here.

I did think about The Amazing Race, but it's American and I thought the programme I watched was made here. I must just be misremembering.

I had it downloaded before I moved to the UK back in 2005 or so.

Hi, thanks for your suggestion, but it wasn't that. These teams knew each other, plus there were many more teams and multiple eliminations. I'm going to try and find Lost though, as it sounds very interesting.
