Seeing as yesterdays Citroen Ami deal went so hot I thought I would post this at only £5995. That's a big enough saving to charge it around 2,000 times

Compared to the Citroen it has
  • British brand
  • Has an additional 3 miles range
  • Bluetooth
  • USB
  • Aluminium body
  • reversing camera

Search for "ZhiDou A520" to see this "British" car.
It isn't British by any stretch of the imagination. And it appears under other names too apparently such as "Shandong a520".

Not a chance would I buy anything from that company or that site.

It is totally not legit. Even the company was only incorporated in April & it has one owner who lives in Turkey!

No filing history, no other shareholders, no investors, a postal address only to a serviced office. (edited)

But he is an entrepreneur apparently!

Lots of companies building velomobiles and quadricycles out there, this one is neither particularly cheap nor looks particularly professional - there doesn't seem to be any contact information or showroom/dealer details on their website.

It's hardy in the same league as an ami or twizy. Given the company is supposedly London-based, not where you'd choose to build a car factory, these could well be chinese imports. Probably more from the fancy golf cart end of things than the Wuling Mini.

    China most likely.

Looks like an (overpriced electric) four wheel bike with a shell. Suppose it keeps you dry

Wonder what the residuals will be like for these

That'd do Royal Mail just fine.

I saw this car in an article last week and they are skeptical about it.
