Wi-Fi 6 on sky broadband?

Posted 5th Apr 2022
Hi guys I've recently moved house and we had virgin at the previous property I had the superhub in modem mode connected to a TP Link AX1800 WiFi router which worked great for wireless PCVR to my Quest 2. Virgin isn't available in our new place so have had to go for Sky as far as I can gather you can't use the Sky hub in modem mode just wondered if anybody has any suggestions as the best way to get WiFi 6 using my TP Link router, we are limited to 63 mb so a lot slower than we had with Virgin so don't really want to spend much.

Thanks

Sean

You could plug it in but you be be double NAT. This is only a problem if you need to port forward anything.

You can turn the WiFi off on the sky modem/router.

    Turn the wifi off.

Turn off DHCP server off on the sky router
Turn on router mode on the mesh

OK tried disabling wifi on the sky hub and set the TP link to access point mode, it works but its very unreliable every few hours I'll get no Internet access and have to reboot the TP-Link, never had any issues with it connected to the old Virgin Superhub so think I'll replace the Sky Hub does anybody have any recommendations?
