I can't see £8. It appears £11.

Well BBC Sport shows all the commercial logos

I have a cunning plan. I'll cover it in gaffer tape, and then it won't even know it's meant to contain Heinz tomato soup. (ninja) Plus, I'll then be able to use it in vision on BBC shows. Imagine how vexing it would be to have one's tub of stew confiscated because it displays a brand. ;(

500ml size, I believe. The Heinz Tomato soup flask at Argos is only £4.something and is 650ml size. The Heinz food flask works fine as long as you don't tell it you're filling it with something other than Heinz tomato soup. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7238837.htm?cmpid=APP003

have this. its pretty good

got 2 from wiggle but the larger size, about £23 each, added some tablets to make it up to £50 so i could use their sign up to newsletter £5 voucher !

Shouldn't be cold, buy the bin and get the mug free!

I don't understand it either. Really good price too

Looks great. Why so cold?

I have one of these and I really like it. XD

Yes,it would be interesting to know whether overall we actually save money on this site, probably save pounds on lots of items, just a pity we didn't need them in the first place. :/

The Argos stock check results:- 63 have the item instore & 6 have the item available for reservation.

Was it Heinz porridge ? It only keeps Heinz products hot due to the smart circuitry built into the lid. You need to purchase a Quaker one for porridge.

Saw a 0.8L Thermos (soups&drinks glass vacuum tube but metal externals) at £7.20(discounted from £17?) at Sainsburys.

i fill it with porridge at 7am stone cold at 10.30am..waste of space

I bet that must be the ones branded ThermoCafe by Thermos, which is the low end products from Thermos. The difference quite significant. I have exactly this flask, accidently lost one and then bought a same one about a month ago for about £20! Simple the best! Been using a couple of other brands in the past few years including some "high rated" ones from Amazon, Thermos simply wins them all! Heat!!!

I found them to be almost 60% gooder

I agree. Just bought a 500ml thermos vacuum flask today from TK Max for £6.99, I can’t imagine these are twice as better

Like it being a Vacuum flask,as there's so much junk out there. 470 ml a bit low in capacity for me though.

Best one and the cheapest. Once a week or two About 25-50ml of cheap tesco/lidl/aldi bleach, top up with boiling water, leave it until stain is gone (1-2h) Wash in boiling water. Leave it overnight to dry. Enjoy your shiny, smell free thermos for a long while.

Thermos thermocafe defeating equivalent Stanley and Zojirushi flasks in a heat retention test Thermos ultimate > King > Thermocafe > whatever

There are lots of good ways to deep clean a flask, denture tablets, some use dishwasher tablets, but the best stuff I have ever used to get off tea stains is a sachet of something called Thermoclean. It's not as cheap as other methods, you'll probably pay £5 for only 4 sachets on ebay. But it's amazing stuff and you probably only need use one sachet every few months. Chuck in a sachet, hot water, shake it up a little and leave it overnight. Use a brush on it when the water has cooled if you have any residual left over, but most of the time it just dissolves it all off.

This is an amazing flask. If you need one or thinking of a flask, buy it. Make a brew in this, still be hot after 12 hours. Never had any leak problem with it. Only problem is that it can be hard to clean.

thermos food flask

I have the bigger version to this. After pre heating with boiling water, my food is kept warm for 6-7 hours for when I have lunch. I would recommend. It’s better than having cold food anyway!

I've got one - I got it as a present but I think it was about £20 so whilst this isn't a massive saving I still think it's a decent price. The flask itself is brilliant, keeps things hot for ages, my son regularly takes left overs in it for his lunch at school.

Thanks - I think I’ll treat myself in that case (embarrassed)

Yes, I have one and I love it. No idea why it's cold. Mine was about twenty quid so £14.99 sounds like a good deal to me.
