Bought one of these over 6 months ago, I think price was closer to £60, however still a reasonable price. Ours is used most days and still looks like new, sits in a window bay south facing so gets lots of sun but no sign of colour change. Recliner action isn’t that smooth but perfectly comfortable. Was self assembly.
looks (& more than likely is) as if it's 4 pieces of plywood bolted together with a foam cushioning.
I have a fabric chair from betterlife - went cold on here because people say Lloyds dont deliver. I've had a couple of fake leather chairs and they never last long so only buy if prepared to take to the dump after about 18 months. Havent had the fabric one long enough to give a decent view on durability.

If to take girlfriend, and say we had 2 kids would then be £37.96, factor in cost of the food and drink its gonna be well over £60 for 2 hours entertainment! (on the assumption the films any good!) Why should I have to pay over double what someone else is paying in a different part of the country?

It's easy to think all prices should be the same, and I get why that is the perception, but it's not the reality for those running the business. In the same way people pay more for the exact same home in different parts of the country, Vue will need to pay differing rent charges for their cinemas. Taking into account how big a cinema could be, it could mean a massive difference in rent and these costs need to be covered. Also competition in the area always affects prices a business will charge, simple supply and demand.

Personally hardly ever use the cinema these days as its a total ripoff imo but I live near the Livingston one so for £5 a ticket I might start going again (was previously over £10).
At this price I'd actually go to the cinema - when my local is more than the price of a DVD from Amazon I'd rather wait for it to be released
Have been well impressed with Vue Gateshead, much better value than their (many) competitors in the area. The screens are very good quality and the seats are actually comfortable.

Sorry but I'm not that heavy yet. The seat is 20 inches wide, so quite generous, and the foam seems quite firm. They advertise it as up to 18 stone. As I said I'm happy with it, only bit I'm not keen on is the footstool. I know sloping is supposed to be better for you but I prefer flat.

Sorry didn’t spot this.

Difficult to put my finger on. But the fake leather was poor quality, it was rickety, and just didn’t feel like an item of quality. Wasn’t particularly comfortable.

I know it’s not big money, but if I was to spend over 100 on a chair again it wouldn’t be this.

I believe mine's too low for my desk, so you end up getting your wrists in a terrible position. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a height adjustable desk. Somehow I made it work as it didn't bother me much until I got some pretty severe training-related injuries which made me look at my habits outside of training and this being one of them. Hope that helps.

I found this chair to be very confusing and painful. You use uour own weight to move chair positions then trap your skin.
Guess it depends on how heavy you are
I've got 3 of these, comfy and adjustable but... if you're over 95kgs there's a bolt which likes to snap. Easy to fix but had to buy a pack of them.
Seems to be the same as this Amazon listing - a few reviews, mostly seem good. But a couple of reviews mention them being flimsy. Take from the reviews what you will, but majority seem good.

I bought this chair from game yesterday, should be arriving tomorrow. … I bought this chair from game yesterday, should be arriving tomorrow. These types of "gaming" chairs come from the same manufacturers. When you buy the DXRACER version of this chair for £250+, you're literally paying for just the name. I found that out when I was looking on Alibaba for stuff and thought I'd look for a chair. The chairs actually cost $40-50 EACH, then the companies have their names stitched on the material. So, if it's DXRACER, TANK, or GTRacer, it's all the same chair from the same factory with the same standards.

Picked my DX up for £140 on Amazon Italy a little over a year ago. They do drop from time to time, but yeah I don't think I would have paid full price at the time. As above though, I don't regret my purchase at all and would get another for the missus if they drop again.

Base where you actual sit, it starts out comfortable but over the course of around three months it soon just became hard as rock. The other issues I can live with as they are minor, but just the lack of padding/comfort on the base make it nigh unusable.

But these chairs I really don't get it, most people who've sat in bucket style seating in cars don't find overly comfortable unless they are of a smaller build/height, so is this kind of chair targeted at teenagers?
gbmcginty6 h, 27 m ago

OK? You can get them in either?

I could get mine. But faux leather looked better. But turned out to be bad choice.
I have the same chair, comfortable! To sit in it a long back does not become numb, good ergonomics. The main thing is to choose the right weight for your height, weight and dimensions. I used to buy a table from this portal dxmadracer.com and then ordered a suitable model on ebay.

There are only a few bolts holding the back onto the base and eventually they break and you end up nearly breaking your neck falling backwards out of the chair.I'll certainly never be buying a markus again that's for sure!

Agree with kiora. Bought an Ikea office chair thinking I was getting a good deal but they are very uncomfortable for long days. i work from home and I'm sat in one for over 9 hours a day. Cripples me.

I'm seriously looking at the DXRacer chairs now as they seem to have a high hourly use rating (if there's a name for this rating, I don't know what it is).
