I drove today from Southampton to Heathrow Terminal 2 (M3 then M25 then A30 . Near the airport I saw signs for ULEZ, I have a 2011 diesel car. I am confused if I passed by ULEZ area or not, as on their website it says that this is outside ULEZ but there is expansion to cover all London.

sorted byIt's part of the pay per mile scheme they trying to bring in. Ulez is just a scam.

I have just signed up for auto pay which use to have an annual charge.
It’s good to see that it’s now free so I have opened a free account and added my details so will never receive a fine or worry about if I entered the zone or not as it will now automatically charge me if I enter the Zone.
As such your journey today is not subject to any ULEZ fine.
As mentioned by the previous poster this is a money making scam wrapped in a eco/health wrapper.
Next we will be paying for air
