Posted 10th May 2023
I'm trying to find one and i have seen a few around this price and under but i want to make sure I'm getting something that can cut large pieces of wood sometimes around 3ft x 4ft ish and still have the guide to make sure it doesn't cut it wonky

thanks for any help in advance

For that money you're not buying anything really sturdy at all. With the sizes of wood you need to cut you would need to figure out what you're going to do with any overhang, it'll need supporting to the same height or your cuts won't be straight and you'll potentially start pinching the blade and causing all kinds of situations. Is a table saw the only option for you?

I have one and 99% of the time I just attach a track to the wood (Usually just a wooden batton, clamped or screwed if enough room to attach on offcut side) and use my circular saw. (edited)
