Well, my Nilfisk is 23 yr old and still going strong and parts are still available if needed, so I'd recommend that.

My Nilfisk is also about that old and still works perfectly, as a comparison my father has had 3 Karchers die in roughly the same time frame. But too be honest I did read somewhere that in recent years Nilfisk has started to cheap out on their quality so the new generation may not last as long.
I was lucky to pick up one of the Aldi Scheppach petrol washers last year for £79 and it's a beast so my Nilfisk has been retired. (edited)

What's your budget? If you can afford it I'd look at Ava pressure washers. I forked out for one after years of mediocrity and haven't looked back. Blows everything I've had out of the water . Superbly made and may be a tad dearer but as the saying goes. You get what you pay for .

I would recommend Lidl's Parkside. For £70 its a beast.
