Good price, but I would never have bought short dated baby food, personal preference and I'll happily eat short dated/slightly out of date food myself, but a baby doesn't have my iron stomach!

You're welcome, I miss Woolworths ;( mainly their pick n mix (lol)

Great thanks. Ours is called "red balloon" because it was a Gateway. Gateway pinched this name from Woolworth when they bought Woolco in the 80's.

O n a w 😳

sez655

It's still 6 months. I've been to 2 weaning classes lately as my LO 6 months 7/1. They are trying to get these changed. As it is NOT recommend to give anything but breast/formula before 6 months. They also told us how bad all these jars etc are for babies! It's disgusting what these companies get away with! x

sez655

Sorry, wasn't lecturing. I accidentally replied to wrong person. Meant to reply to Ellie (above)

purpleangel13

Only quoting what’s on the jar I don’t need a lecture

This rang a bell as being something that was part of a recall at some point.....a quick google later shows a few different instances of this being recalled in various countries around the world. Tbh don’t know if that is just standard and if I do a search on other brands it will maybe be the same.

A Baby food processor? Now, I don't like kids and I really dislike screaming babies, but putting them in a food processor is a bit much, even for me!

odom

Misleading, there is no way you can fit a baby in one of these.

opaninkofi

Lol

furiousjammin

A turd at 66% off is still a turd...

opaninkofi

Yes, reviewed @ £29.99. Reviews will surely be different if they had bought it for £9.99

Yeah because every baby has those issues.. and it must be because of formula. Because you said so. How terribly sad that you are a WOMAN trying to belittle other women and shame them over feeding choices. Trawling a formula thread for no reason other than to do that, shows the kind of person you are. Wow your kid got milk out your boobs. Standing ovation. Not unusual. Let’s hope she doesn’t grow up with your stuck up, judgemental, women shaming attitude , coz what a waste of a superbaby that would be huh!

AL1S0N

Sticking my neck out to say I agree with everything dominikk has said

DominikkTheDonkey

Actually, no. 24 year old mother of one 16 month old who I have breastfed her entire life. I’ve seen babies with reflux, digestive issues, constipation, obese children... all because of formula. Why would you put your child through that unless absolutely necessary? Babies can’t break down the fats in formula, hence one of the reasons why breast is best.

pricklychin

And what? Clearly you are a bloke. And an absolute fool. Jog on you narrow minded uneducated fool

Lily2912

A fed baby is a healthy baby, let’s not shame parents for the choices they make on feeding their babies as long as they do what they feel is best by them that’s all that matters

Went pass boots yesterday saw them again mark 37p in clearance shelf still good price so i bought all what they left there(well, just a dozen).I think more important is if your child like the taste come first.

We don’t have a blender so bought one of these when weaning my youngest. I batch cooked veg and blended it in portions ready for the freezer. It did the job!

nikara34

We bought this and used it twice before i gave up and used my usual blender. If you dont have a blender and dont want a big fancy one id opt for a hand blender before buying this. Very flimsy and the blade/motor were very weak.

Ah really, Sainsburys seems to have been there decades! I have just googled it’s existence but I didn’t get any results. Oh really, they are starting their own baby range. Good to know! :D

emribena

Used to live in Woolton - spent many hours as a child getting shopping for my Mum from Sainsburys then popping over to RS Mcoll to get a slush puppy! Heat <3 They are selling the Heinz add water ones off in my local but I was too late as the shelves were bare but price tag was still there. I think they are narrowing down the range as Sainsburys are doing their own brand of baby food now so should be nationwide just depends on stock in your specific store

cosmic*girl

They were in the baby section, where the food, nappies etc are. I was looking for Bickie Pegs which they didn’t have and I stumbled across these!

kushie

I never seem to find these baby food offers. Are these in the baby section or have they been moved to a reduced shelf?

furiousjammin

Can anyone confirm if seen in any other stores?
