Olia permanent bleach hair dye: Pricing Error 70p in store at Superdrug
LocalLocalFound 30th SepFound 30th Sep
Garnier Olia permanent bleach blonde dye is normally £6.99 or two for £12. In store Hornchurch is selling at till for 70 pence.

Not a glitch. It's on clearance. Most of the store assistants are lazy to change the price label.

Hopefully you went back and cleared the shelf OP

Easy Bleach Citrus Seriously thick bleach 750ml - 39p @ B&M

Easy Bleach Citrus. Seriously thick bleach. Kills all germs and is effective against salmonella, E-coli, listeria and MRSA. Also neutralises odours. Size: 750ml (Approx.)

39p is the standard price for own brand bleach in every discount shop. It does the job for clearing skid marks without scrubbing.

2 x 1 litre for £1 in Poundland

I prefer this to the difficult stuff.

This was 39p 5 years ago (Link) its the standard price but that said still nice and cheap. Heat 8)

Parazone bleach 750ml 45p at Wilkos reduced from 70p instore and online
LocalLocalFound 27th SepFound 27th Sep
Parazone Bleach 750ml Reduced from 70p to 45p. I use this brand and it's great stuff. This was in-store today

For toilet cleaning, I presume you simply aim it at the "skid marks" and Parachute?

I mix the 39p home Bargain bleach with a little bit of water in a spray bottle then spray on the grout & leave for 1 hr then rinse with water & leaves grout clean :)

Also can confirm (learnt on here) that ordinary cheap thick bleach does clean off mildew from grout/silicone etc. Just put some bog roll over it, put a few drops on to soak in then leave overnight. (y)

Top tip for saving money on bleach. Buy one of these "toilet" or "duck" shaped ones (whatever you find is the best price, maybe this or a Home Bargains one), and when it's empty you can remove the plastic funnel head at the top and then refill it using a big bottle of bleach. The bleach in these shaped bottles is nearly twice the price of the stuff in the large bottles and it's the same stuff. :)

Same in the store I went in - picked up a couple of pinks!

The item dispatched at 8am surprised I only just got the cancellation excuse

OMG what sort of excuse is that.sorry about that mike (mad)

I have just had mine cancelled by the seller apparently “there was an incident when these items were in transit which resulted in a heavy item falling over and crushing some of the bleach. This is turn meant that the bleach spilt over the remaining bottles. Due to health and safety, we cannot send these out to you. ” Anyone else have this ?

I have expired the post

These get filtered out into 'cakes' at the sewage treatment works along with sweetcorn, paper pulp etc..., dried and incinerated for their energy. The problem with plastic in the sea comes from third world countries that bulldoze mountains of rubbish into rivers and onto beaches where it is used as an excuse to impose new taxes on people here.

I don’t want to go on anymore now either, but I’ll just finish by explaining my point a bit more... Technically they are flushable, so are nappies, cotton buds, condoms etc. They do flush away, but it doesn’t mean they should be. They cause blockages, resulting in pollution of rivers, and distress where it is in or near a house. Let’s not forget, when they are broken down into smaller pieces, these aren’t removed by the treatment process, so micro plastic ends up in the rivers and oceans. The water companies are working hard to get this labelling removed from wipes such as these, but the industry is not willing... ultimately they know they won’t sell as many if they have to add that you can’t flush them in the toilet! Anyway, thanks for posting the deal, it is a good one, just make sure you dispose of them properly! ;)

I'm really happy for you that a few others clicking 'like' to comments that subscribe to your particular point of view makes you happy, and despite making claims about the content of fat bergs you have still not provided any evidence. You can rest assured Wiggo I do my fair bit for the planet (I'm a borderline obsessive recycler, for example). We can debate endlessly if I'm honest Wiggo. But two things that won't change are.. 1) You and those that support your point of view on this product won't flush any flushable wipes. 2) I and many, many others most certainly will continue to flush our flushable wipes. Take care. :D

I almost said the same to the other dude about a bucket of water and flushable wipe. See how long it takes to break down etc but honestly I don't want to go on. I totally understand what you are saying and I completely agree with not flushing baby wipes and the likes but as these say 'flushable' Toilet wipes (and I have felt them, they tear easily like wet paper towel) so I would have thought they would be fine to flush without causing any issue as they will break down. I would have thought labelling something as flushable in 2018 and it not being flushable would be investigated and I would hope it would be too if that is the case (y)

You really don’t get it, do you? It’s about making small changes to reduce our impact, getting public transport or walking instead of driving, changing our behaviours when someone points out the negatives from what we do. I am smiling a lot thank you, firstly as my life means I get to spend a lot of my time enjoying and protecting our great outdoors. Secondly, as I only have to converse with heathens like you on forums like this. If this debate has made one person change the way they dispose of their wipes, I am happy. And PS, look at the top comments on this thread and you’ll see I am not alone in my thinking.

Exactly my thoughts. I always get the 39p easy brand in b&m as its nice and thick. I hate that watery bleach. Its also made by jeyes the same folks who make jeyes fluid.

Someone didn't like my previous post and had it removed! (shock) To express it another way: can someone please explain to me in what way is the price of this justified over a good own-brand at a much lower price, eg Aldi's at 39p or 2 litres for 79p?

Heat, one of the most effective! but I am not sure if its good for the environment...

Should be reported to trading standards. Tesco what were you thinking? Remove this product from your shelves. Do the decent thing. It's bad enough with the current dangerous craze of making pizza toppings from washing liquitabs/kids stupidly then attempting to break/eat the liquitabs in their mouth.

Loving your work !

Do you have to let it linger?

Thanks bigtonka (y)
