I looked 6 months ago, and they all looked pretty crappy in design. eBay seemed to have most options, but things may have progressed since then.

I'm about to buy a cheap wall mount from eBay. (y) Can anyone plz recommendol one from experience? (party)

And significantly more expensive. Im sure we’d all have Sonos if we could afford them. These speakers are fantastic value for money, and sound brilliant, especially when paired

I have messed around with the sensitivity before I think it may be my accent I wish I could change the wake up word to something different than hey or OK Google... I find if I speak in a fake deep voice it works better lol

top_marker

You can change the sensitivity in the settings

Could be the Belfast accent I find the wake up word I have to shout at it to hear but after that I can lower my voice

Can't fault mine. Has a built in sub. Surprisingly good audio quality and goes fairly loud.

They sell for about £50 + postage on ebay. Waiting for reduced fees deal from ebay and I will put mine for sale. I've put it for sale on Facebook marketplace and somebody offered £40, but I want a bit more.

tom6195

Have one of these from the John Lewis eufy promotion for sale if anyone is interested

Back in stock peeps

i got this on the JL bundle aswell. was hoping for £50 for it but may just cut my losses and sell to cex

Flyer01

Precisely. There is no such thing as free labour, free time, free packing materials and free postage for a seller. As you mentioned, future customers end up paying, both in money and future restrictions that will inevitably come around to deal with cretins with such a wasteful approach. Actions like this will also result in the loss of a great many things that should be recycled into the marketplace as folk are fearful of effectively paying money because of another's selfishness, the end result being more and more stuff gets put in landfills. Also, even more small sellers will join the tens of thousands who have already had to give up selling because of those who abuse online rights, the niche and unusual things that they sell no longer available because the big shops don't deem them a good 'fit' for their brand and/or profitable. I could expand on this but, let's be honest, if their parents, schools, work and life experience hasn't taught them how to be a fit citizen, what chance have I? At the end of the day there are good people and there are bad people, the latter sadly thriving in the anonymity the internet offers over experienced retail sales staff who would take action on repeat abusers.

Are these any good without buying any extra mesh extenders?

t3kashi94

This router acts as a mesh if you have other nest routers or wifi points. In my home I have one router plugged into my openreach modem on the ground floor, another router on the first floor and then a point on the second floor in the office. Just ran a speed test from my office and I'm pulling in 341mbps and i pay for 300mb with BT. I really do recommend getting these - they're a great investment. I do not have any WiFi 6 devices so these only being WiFi 5 doesn't bother me.

top_marker

Does it extend the range? I moved my office to the loft and now get no signal with the virgin hub3, would be ideal if this had a wider range

top_marker

Didn't think this was the mesh one, also still need to buy the add on little mesh extenders

Stuby

There is a huge difference if you have more than a couple of devices. A lot of cellphone tower technologies are finally making it to WiFi hotspots. Checkout YouTube videos on WiFi 6. There is a good one from Linus tech tips.

it's 349 with them so it would come to 319 post using the £40 code

swagat

The 249 on JL was also with no code needed but what made this deal good was with the code you get the speaker , I have explained further up on what that code does . Even Currys is 249 but neither BT nor Currys give you the Google Nest Speaker

Stu

Yes mate.

Does AHK do geofencing

Stu

Ok. There are some further detail settings in AHK that allow people, parcel, car and animal detection.
