Gro used to sell the Grosnug for lower weight newborns (5lb to 12lbs) where you had the option to have arms in or arms out. When the Gro Company were bought out by Tommee Tippee they stopped selling the Grosnug and replaced it with a Growbag Easy Swaddle for lower weight newborns (5lb to 12lbs) but you can only have arms in :( If you have a bigger newborn the Tommee Tippee Grobag Snuggle can be used from 7lb You can still find Grosnugs on ebay and from some tkmaxx stores if you want the option for a lower weight newborn to have arms out.
I bought this one specifically because it was a swaddle. My daughter sleeps much better in this then when swaddled in a regular blanket. I bought the 3-9 months one in the star print for £16.79 too as I doubt I'll see them that cheap when I need them. That one has the poppers so can swaddle or have the arms out if that's the type you were looking for
Excellent items, would say they are quite snug by design so will need to move up again soon.
Yes this is the grosnug for newborns and I think it goes up to 12lbs

My peanut is a really light sleeper, the poppers would wake him! I guess the faffing often does too...
Had one of these, now too small for my very long little one. Quality good, washes up well. Though personally I find the sleeping bags that popper at the top above each shoulder much easier, especially when bubs falls asleep before you get a chance to put them in, a lot less fussing! Good price btw!
Shame not showing in pink option
just ordered two for the twin grandsons Thank you

Good spot. Oddly it's described as an older version of the one I found (and bought!). I'm not sure what the difference is, though it's worth noting the 'older' twin pack is a "child's play" pack ('vs' "roll up"). On the Gro Company's own website, the 'older' version is discounted and the rainbow stripe version full price.
This colour slightly cheaper
Also 0-6 are £28
Even at full price these are worth the money. We're due to move our LO into the larger size soon so thanks for posting.
