All Spade Discounts, Offers and Sale - August 2018
I got the dreaded, we have no stock phone call :(
Thanks OP, ordered for collection. You are looking around £10 for a decent spade alone. HEAT
I was about to post. They have about 5 sets left in the Cannock store.
Hot, thanks for posting
Do you get 2 for £2 as it's Poundland? :p
It’s not, I was just highlighting that if you just wanted to buy a spade you could, for £2. My local wasn’t doing the two for £5, if yours isn’t this might suit you. You could go wild and buy 2 spades for £4
So then... :/ Spade + Fork = £7 How is this better than the 2 for £5 offer...? (fierce)
It’s definitely a spade alright. That’s just the type of guy I am.
It would be rude not to :o
£1 each or two for a fiver! Bargain!
Ahhh that helps!! They had wilson and Gregory forks but all the spades are greenlands?!? Good tip though thank you
Ive not seen the brand you have posted on your deal. They both need to be the wilson & gregory branded fork/spade.
Ok! Just pooped at lunchtime to grab this bargain at the main Birmingham city centre store. I scanned both; the spade came up £2 but the fork came up at £5 still and there was not adjustment at checkout. I put the fork back but chuffed with my £2 spade, I wouldn’t have bought it without seeing this. I might pop up a local deal for the spades only in case that helps a brummie
Thanks, OP. Snapped my Wiikinson fork shaft yesterday, taking out a shrub, so good timing! (y) My old fork has a ten year guarantee...if only I could find the receipt from six years ago! (annoyed)
I've had Spear and Jackson stainless forks break on me, but as they had a 10 year guarantee they replaced them with no quibbles. I remember the inside of the metal where it broke looked like cinder toffee, full of bubbles and not what I'd expect forged steel to look like, now I know why. (y)
Not knocking the deal, because they are great prices, but in my experience cheap stainless steel garden tools break really easily. I learned to stop buying them because I found they were a false economy. Here's an interesting article, that covers quality and value in garden tools.
I got .the digging spade and fork , the border spade and fork a few months ago for about £44. Great tools
lol, if you dig with it, you might find some
Do they have it in gold ?
Got one of these for £10.50 a while back, pretty good spade IMO.
call a spade a spade
Have they got fork (h)andles?
Thanks got a fork
Thanks, needed.fork, got fork.
Having seen some previous comments from would be DIYers on these pages, I think it should be pointed out that these are for automotive use, 12 - 24 volt and are not to be used for re-wiring your house. (lol)
You did - 'This item is out of stock'
Think I got the last box :)
£7.99 for me. BUT i'm using a VPN showing me as in mainland Europe. as soon as I log-in free P+P to my UK address (embarrassed)
Strange you even seeing the £7.99 on yours. I notice you're looking on a mobile link. Mine is a PC and no delivery charge showing.
Product unavailable now
Top man. Cheers. Worked and got it. :)
You can try my code....I'm not going to use it (y) KATE504D3HCCH7W
Same. No sign of it
Could I flog this on Ebay for £240+ I wonder? Doesn't seem to be much price action around the bags listed.
Humour is really lost on some people...
"Kate Spade New York"
(lol) (lol) (lol)
Probably reduced because of the spelling mistake.
£10 *per* glass? Jesus!
At this price it's worth it for the toon if you have any old spades which need a new one. The blade on this is just worthless pig iron though. Buy old or inherit your spade blades.
Just popped to Homebase, for me it’s a bit flimsy so have it a miss. Added Heat for the deal (y)
Won’t let me add to basket grrrr, 16 in stock at my local. Heat
Bought one and works a treat. Any cheap food poison offers? Thankfully my wife enjoys a nice curry.
Surely you mean Doug-less?
The whole what? :/
Great. We can all now afford to dig the hole we voted to dig in the EU referendum.
Shovel yourself out of the s**t, only 0.99!
Gotta love carbon steel. Much better than non carbon steel, or iron as most people call it.
Thanks, bought one.
Ah, lucky this was labelled as a 'digging' spade otherwise noone would know if it's okay for digging. "Call a spade a spade" lol
Reserved both for collection. Cheers op and Picard123
They have a lot of the craft right stuff hung randomly at racking boundaries amongst all the tools, plumbing, electrical, fixings, etc. You'll need to walk up and down a few aisles.
Just got an email saying the quid hard wood restorer is now also on its way a month early (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B001OD5XRM/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Mind you I'm still waiting on a hatchet from a month ago at least so not everything turns up quickly.
Said that when I ordered 2 weeks ago, already got them both though. They seem to set an arbitrary date if they don't yet have stock, just been told the HG parquet floor cleaner for a quid will be here in 2 days and that said a month (here if anyone is interested: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000IU3W0C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
"Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months"
It's an add on at this price - click the £5 by the from new
shovels mentioned are showing £16.75.
Got one from wilko yesterday. Castle shaped bucket (bigger than this) with attached spade. £1.50.
Not the bargain bucket I expected :D
I didn't even need to see who that like was off. Is it possible to actually set up 'Joey GIF' as a keyword? (excited)
I think it's a good deal, great price. Amazon sells for 25+ - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Spear-Jackson-Traditional-Digging-Spade/dp/B0006UF6D0 - and homebase even more. It's an excellent make - so should last a very long time. Reviews not the greatest on amazon, but still 4.2 out of 5 - and a 10 year guarantee. Thanks for the heads up.
why is this cold? I've just this weekend been looking for one and it's also cheapest i can find. is is this spade not very good?
You dig with a spade. You shovel with a shovel. Not a bad price for a snow shovel, it'll come in handy for shovelling leaves in October
Worth buying as a lucky charm to ward off snow. It has worked so far , since I bought one it has not snowed. I put them in the same category as my Elephant scarer!
Wickes have some outside at same price
In my 45 years on this planet I have yet to ever need to shovel snow, go figure.
I bought at couple of these two years ago (£5 each) , but have yet to use them. At this price thou a good stand by and worth keeping one in the shed just in case.
Amazing, a bag the wife wanted was in the sale. Thats her sorted, along with a Bikin she saw when we were inthe states this summer. Still pains me how much we pay over here compared to USA/Canada. We were in Canada in May and they had a victoria day promotion, 60% + 20% off of all bags in their outlet and this was before Canadian/pound exchange rate!
Great , thanks
Love KS. Thanks for the heads up. Heat added
