They have these on a daily deal almost every day.
The one you listed isn't one of the best deals that I have seen, especially as it is used.

This is a better one as there's a voucher that brings it down to £430.
Eight core CPU and it's new.

    amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1

Tick the box to add the voucher.

Great, may thanks for your answer. I thought about the mini Mac deal tbh but that 8GB Ram is a deal breaker for me

i've seen these on eta prime

if you want something small then i guess why not?
maybe can find an itx with a discrete gpu for other uses

the 5600h is a bit slower than it's brothers but still better than my ryzen 2700

I'm sure you have a better cpu in your house

Can't comment on that particular system or spec, but something worth looking in to is the Puget Systems Davinci benchmark, available here: benchmarks.pugetsystems.com/ben…cs= . It can be a useful tool for seeing how different configurations perform with Resolve, although it will take a lot more digging and consideration than traditional review sites, since the app seems sensitive to many factors, and there's no prescribed consistency in any of the (user-sourced) tests.

Note with DaVinci Resolve the free version doesnt offer any hardware acceleration to decode H.264/H.265 (the free version does include hardware acceleration only when exporting).
Even with the paid Studio version you get better decode hardware acceleration using Intel 12/13th gen CPUs with Quick Sync (even when you have desktop Nvidia cards), so worth noting when deciding on which processor to get.

What is the max size you accepted?
    Will you consider self-built?
    I am thinking asrock X300 + 5700G + 16GB RAM + 1TB SSD + m.2 AX411

I was looking at them earlier this week as they have a barebones 5600H for £229, but then dug into the delivery costs and couldn't work out if VAT was needed on to of the displayed costs:
