Cycling/walks/hikes/less secluded beaches/play area/parks in North West England

Posted 29th May 2023
Right, so the gorgeous weather is here and I'm looking to get out and try to get more exercise.

I live in the north west and wanted people to share their hikes, walks, cycling routes etc.

I know people don't want to share some places so happy to be DMd

Ideally it needs to be a place I can drive to, park up. Then varied walks of different lengths and difficulties.

Same for cycling routes, secluded beaches, parks etc.

Like I said, I get people may not want to share but I can only ask. I myself don't like over crowded places too. I've been to the lakes, Ingleton falls etc which were lovely. A regular place we go to is lytham.

Again, if people are protective of their places I understand but if you want to DM me, that would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Strava, and then join local groups to see where other people are cycling/walking/running or use their heat maps to figure out your own routes.

Same with Komoot/outdoor active/all trails. (edited)
