this jersey is probably £40 to buy in the shops anyway. so..... think of it this way maybe.. ill buy an arsenal jersey and get a free £40 bet which could possibly pay out big... if not, who cares you got the jersey you wanted. note:only good deal if you were planning on buying an arsenal jersey

As usual people vote hot or cold depending on what football team they support and not by the deal, sad.

I have to agree, this is a good deal for a die hard Arsenal fan. For the general public it aint a good deal but for someone who would have bought a shirt or would have placed a bet (I know people who bet more on Boro winning the leauge, I mean SERIOUSLY) then this is a great deal. But they have no chance of winning :-)

I'm not a football fan but surely if you were going to buy an arsenal shirt anyway this would be an excellent deal so why so cold? :s

Well if you were going to buy the shirt anyway, worth putting in a punt. Good deal. Some proper losers on here.

Nike Arsenal FC 2007/08 home shirt £24.50 delivered Less if you use quidco + (voucher codes If you want to use them)

Not a bad price and seems to be in stock on all available sizes

Come on lets make this as cool as possible.

I don't think its too bad, new home shirt every 2 seasons around £40, £20 per season, very rarely do I buy away shirts as they are released every season.

Wouldn't buy a football shirt anymore, just another way of ripping off supporters by changing the shirts every other season

Cold, last season's shirt.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha :)

Yep, it's even better because my gf has Setanta for free for 12 months while she has Virgin Media, so this comes as an extra free channel and I'm one of the biggest arsenal fans. :)

just for people who don't have setanta already, the customer services with setanta are dyer.

And the problem with Setanta is? This is a free channel if you already subscribe. Can't be any better than that.

word of warning folks, Arsenal tv is a part of settanta sports, so don't get your hopes up too much with it

What year did our Lord Taylor advise that though?

They're hardly regular starters, David Dein managed to muck up the world cup by twisting Sven's arm to take Theo to the world cup You better check Keane's passport as he's Irish....:giggle:

We had Hoyte on at right back in the Champions League and Theo Walcott came on as sub. I think if you check their passports (Arsené wont cause it's about ability, not nationality, in football) they are English. There are plenty of decent British players (McFadden, Keane & Healy for starters) but English players are so horribly overpriced that if they were posted up here as deals we would have to vote them cold. :giggle:

Emmanual Eboue is one of the biggest cheats in the Premiership, I'm not doubting the fact that Chelsea and Liverpool players dive, but there are plenty of Arsenal players who do as well, to be that single minded, is downright stupid. Generally the better the national team, the better players we can attract to the Premiership and the more global recognition it gets, plus the British economy suffered as a result of England's exit. Its not like you need to play a whole side of Englishman but 1 or 2 would be nice! The FA actually does give money to clubs to nurture English youngsters, just Wenger has no interest in raising the profile of the English national team. Kolo Toure, Emmanuel Eboue, Backary Sagna, Emmanual Adebayor, Denilson, Gilberto, Song etc.. all from the European Union?? There's plenty of decent British players, just Wenger chooses not to buy them, when he did get Campbell, he did a pretty good job?

i would rather put pins in my eyes than watch chelsea players like drogba & Essien dive all over the place. I also would not be interested in watching our so called england players who are not fit to wear the 3 lions. Also, how can it be our fault that the fa dont sponsor ours youngters. We may have mostly non UK players but most are from the european union and can play where ever they want.Would you turn down the talent we have. I DONT THINK SO !!!

Family enclosure sells out quickly, you normally have to have a silver membership (along with a JG membership) at least to get in there or know someone who has one and doesn't mind you using it! You might get lucky on one of the the less attractive fixtures or if it's on tv.

Thanks for a concise reply. Looks like my cheapest option is to try and get tickets in the family enclosure. Hopefully that will also get me away from the loadmouths who insist on shouting and moaning everytime an arsenal player misses a pass or doesnt shoot from the half way line. Would I have to be a red member and my son a junior member for us to both gets tickets in the family enclosure?

LOL Jealousy?

Who in there right mind would pay £94 for a ticket - what a JOKE !!! Unfortunatly most Gooners cant string a sentence together, let alone sing a song !!!:w00t: Nice to see that the 'library' crowd never changes, despite a fantastic stadium. They might be top of the league but they've played 4 games at home and only 1 away game outside of the capital. Who decides these bliming fixtures ????:giggle:

The tickets are going to be a lot more expensive than last nights event and even as a Red member, it can be very difficult to attain, so I'd personally speak to anyone you know that is a season ticket holder, as they're offered to purchase tickets in advance. There's also 2 different category of important games with Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and West Ham all considered to be tier A games and are about 50% more expensive than any other match. The prices also vary depending on where you're seated with ticket prices starting from about £35 and go upto about £70 for the category B games and just shy of a £100 for the biggest games with the best seats in the house. 2007/08 Match Day ticket prices Emirates Upper/Lower Tier Category A Category B Centre Upper £94 £66 Centre Upper Back £70 £49 Next To Centre Upper £70 £49 Next To Centre Upper Back £61 £43 Wing Upper £60 £42 Wing Upper Back £55 £38 Corner Upper £60 £42 Goal Upper £66 £46 Goal Upper Back £55 £38 Centre Lower £51 £35 Wing Lower £46 £32 Corner Lower £46 £32 Goal Lower £46 £32 Family Enclosure Adult £46 £32 Senior Citizen/Cannon Club £20 £14 Junior Gunner £18 £13 Hope that helps and hope fans attend that are willing to sing there hearts out, as there was a lot of people around us that didn't even flinch until Arsenal scored on the 83rd minute. :)
