not sure its news worth a literal "like" but thank you.Has been a good run with codies though, usually did a great job.
Very likely to go that route since EA acquired Codemasters last week. RIP Codemasters.
these are the better Dirt games, the newer releases may all stick with base game plus million payable DLC. So enjoy while it lasts. stil luv cmr2 though, really feels like its tearing the track.
Under £1, what's not to love?
That’s a shame. It was my go to racer when I fancied a change from hard sims, but still something that “felt” good. I’ve only a 75hz monitor so Forza 7 played really nicely for me. I said “played” as I can no longer install it on my main PC as there is a problem with it and my Microsoft Store. I’ve spoken to MS support for over 90mins as week as Turn 10 and no one can resolve. I’ve tried every resolution I can find on the ‘net. I don’t want to rebuild windows at the moment so I’m stuck without it.
Never miss a 'Dirt 4' deal again!

Definitely worth a fiver, a fun arcadey racer and the rally stages are the best IMO, there are also daily and weekly challenges to do which are fun too, most fun racer I've played this year and very accessible. It is on Xbox Gamepass and PS Now but they can remove it later down the line, a fiver to keep it is a great deal.
Could do with a good arcade racer to have on the old hard drive!
Brilliant news for people wanting to play it on PlayStation.
Rude not to (y) :D Heated up and thanks for posting (y)
Personally I own both and prefer this. More arcadey - just a bit more fun really.
I've bought this and think it's well worth 95p. I've already had several hours of fun playing it and I've come across fog perhaps 20% of the time
Yeah, it happens a lot. Probably like 60 to 70% of the time. I gave up on it because of it.
I noticed this on the second course. Does this happen often then? At least it was only 95p I've wasted if that's the case.
Yes, I know, but I don't find the arcadey ones fun anymore (recent discovery) now I've got into AC and RaceRoom. Perhaps I should leave them for the gamepad rather than the wheel. Anyway, I had a go of this and it seems OK after about 30 minutes play, but think WRC handles better. I should probably have just spent a few quid more and got Dirt 2 which I enjoyed when it was on Game Pass. I did try Forza 7 last week (I was a big fan of the early Forzas) but I uninstalled it after a short time.
This game is one hand hand pretty well made but on the other, it's completely ruined by ridiculous amounts of fog appearing on so many courses that's it's unplayable by eye. You could learn to play by ignoring the fact you can't see 5 foot in front of you and just listening to the audio instruction but that's not what I want.

25th Anniverasary Build Your Own Bundle (Dirt 4 | Call Of Juarez | F1 2018 | Syberia 3 and more) From 95p Onwards @ Fanatical£0.95Fanatical Deals
A pretty good choice of games here in the bundle where you can pick from 1 for 95p onwards. 1 for 95p 5 for £2.75 10 for £4.59 Hope it helps someone.
Me too, Grid 4 has exceeded my expectations, but Grid is already installed. Grid"s handling is far too arcadey for me.
Eventually bought this for Dirt 4 and GRID. The download size for Dirt 4 is 33.38 GB, and for GRID it's 54.47 GB.
I had a really annoying skipped frames stutter issue in Grid 4 (running on 165 Hz monitor). It seems to caused by USB polling. Fix here for anyone else who needs it: github.com/simonowen/dirtfix/blob/master/ReadMe.md
Yeah they were extras I had that are from that bundle (y)
they seem to be same games as the ones in link . Am i missing something ?

Good price have some heat buddy. :)
Do you mean shadows and particles? I've tried that, no real difference. I guess I just don't like the way the game it's programmed. I know the idea is that you can learn the track and follow the voice prompts but I'd prefer a game where you can see what you're doing.
Turn shaders and particles to low or off, in the settings
There's way too much fog in this game. Playing on a new PC with a 2060 and I can't see 10ft in front of me half the time. I can understand some fog for realism but it's ridiculous how much there is and how often it occurs.
You're right, it's not -that- bad. It's just not as good as the other Dirt or Dirt Rally games. Something's just missing in the whole thing; it feels hollow. I think they might have overreacted to those who were negative about the loud Ken Blockiness of 3's stylings, but they didn't really find anything else to replace it. Dropping the VR support of Dirt Rally wasn't appreciated, either. But it's not awful; I just felt really let down.
I'm looking forward to Dirt 5 and it's 4 player local co-op for story mode, will be streaming that across Parsec alot
"this mistake" - :D , steady on. It's not that bad. Granted it's not to the quality of DiRT 3, but anything after that was always going to be a high task to achieve. You're comparing the two as if DiRT 3 is a masterpiece, where in reality it's a 84 Metacritic (PC) vs 76 for DiRT 4. I'm not denying the fact that DiRT 3 was a great game, because it was, but let us not get ahead of ourselves and think that DiRT 5 could be any different to what happened with 4. Codemasters are literally masters of the driving genre, but VERY RARELY get it right - Micro Machines, DiRT 4, OnRush, even the recent GRID isn't all that. Fingers crossed they do maintain 'the best elements of 2 and 3', because other than their F1 games, they've struggled with everything else since around 2011.
I assume this is people ditching their Humble Bundle keys. Unfortunately, they're doing that with good reason; this is comfortably the worst in the DIRT series; there's a reason the lead on DIRT 5 has been talking about taking the best elements of 2 and 3 without referencing this mistake at all.
I'd also appreciate any of the F1 Games, or dirt rally 2.0 but i'm not desperate. Would be nice to try for sim racing but majority of games don't interest me. All i can offer is a thanks and student discount codes that i am happy to help anyone out with regardless until it runs out. Thanks :D
After F1 2018 if anyones got one going spare as i have most of the rest in this bundle.

Not tried Dirt Rally 2.0 yet. However the first one annoyed the hell out of me. To say it was brutal is an understatement. I could win the Rally Cross on the hardest setting but could not complete Rally stages on Open (easiest) difficulty. I reckon the game was unbalanced albeit being decent.
Agreed,I never really got into Dirt 4. Didn’t like the randomly generated tracks either.
Ah OK then. Decisions decisions!
It was dirt rally 2.0, even better
This has none of the fun that was in Dirt3, I already have their "hardcore" racer with Dirt Rally and just want something to have a bit of fun with. Hopefully Dirt5 fills that gap.
