I ordered 18 tubs and got 3 delivered :) On to Amazon chat assistant now. Expecting a refund only.

Just got full refund but allowed to keep the product I received (and an apology from Bezzos himself on the phone XD (y) )

Another 1 tubber here too. On chat I was asked if i wanted a refund or replacement. I confirmed it woudld be for 5x 1Kg tubs that are missing and she said yes. So I opted for the replacement. She said all done, thanks, goodbye. Just checked shes ordered me just 1x 1Kg tub. And even that has no defined delivery date. I just couldnt be bothered to argue. £3.50 a tub for 1Kg - when the 2nd one eventually turns up - is not that bad. Not great but ok price. Bezos screwed us.... this time. You cant win them all.

For anyone who eats tonnes of peanut butter (like me) it's worth looking out for when myprotein have a deal on. You can get 1kg of peanut butter for £3.50-3.75. Look out for when they offer 45% off + free delivery. Plus I think the actual product is natural and good quality.

Tesco have 280grams for £1.25

Aldo worth noting that the Aldi Foodie Market Peanut Butter is £1.25 for 280g so slightly more peebs for your fiver. Not sure what I'm gonna do with all the empty jars though.

Tried scanning this at a Tesco Express to see if the price on the shelf was incorrect, but it was still full price and even more expensive than the usual price at other places like the big Sainsbury's near me. Guess it's only on offer at big Tesco stores. The security guy even came after me because he thought that I was trying to walk out of the shop with an item that I didn't pay for. :S

diamond321

Because I dont have the time (lol)

Minus the 30g per jar you can never get to with a spoon and end up using your fingers (shock)

This is the best PB, IMO. Once you get used to 100% nuts there is no going back. I buy the Aldi version when this isn't on offer as I'm convinced it's the same product.

There is 1kg Meridian peanut butter for 5gbp at Asda - crunchy and smooth. Could not post it as asda is suspended on hukd? Anyone know why?

No. P'd off as I love the almond butter but don't like peanut butter.

OOS but voted hot for the price, this is probably the best smart speaker under £100. In terms of sound, otherwise the original Echo and Google are better.

I personally didn't like the overall sound on sonos just because it's not that clear.. But then this is is a personel preference plus hearing different frequency also depends on the age.

Thanks. Apparently the 2nd gen of Echo Plus is not bad, so I’m curious to hear an opinion of someone who has them both. Interesting about this being as good as Sonos 1.

Echo sound is way low quality compared to this. Have compared it with a friend's sonos 1 and sonos 1 is good but frankly speaking the overall sound quality is better on the LG thinq

Forgot to reply that I picked up a tub in the end. I think I prefer peanut butter to be honest, just has a bit more flavour to it. My tub needed a bloody good stir to mix everything back together, as it was very separated upon opening. I can't see myself rushing to buy it again but is there some health benefit to eating this stuff over say peanut butter, which I only do on rare occasions anyway?

Precious321

Yes in moderation, I'm sure! Working with medics brings home some useful info, and of Google is still free btw. So, you ate fish and chips 4 times a week and waited until you were 32 stone to educate yourself? I hope you were being farcical! Anyway, have a little cashew butter once or twice a week and take your omega 3 to keep your cholesterol in order. I found the last 2 scrummy tubs at the shop and bought them!

mrtech007

Heat added op picked up two tubs the other day Lovely stuff .......

sjs31

It IS vegan. "Ingredients : Roasted Cashew Nuts (96%) Sunflower Oil". And, "No added: Palm Oil, Sugar or Salt". As stated on the tubs I bought today. Website also confirms the same info. How is it not vegan? (confused) Heat, OP! (y) Got a couple of tubs today from the Bidston Moss store P.S. - It also states on the tub : "Suitable for Vegans" !!

How is there so much completely false information in one thread! It's honestly like people on here are replying to the wrong thread altogether.

Cheaper than the other meridian peanut butter deals posted recently. Was worried i would only receive 1 pack instead of 2 but can confirm I received both as advertised.
fabsaver

Well guess what received mine and only one tub (annoyed) I'm getting fed up of ordering all these Amazon multi-pack deals and only receiving a single item. It's happening nearly every time I order them now. Customer services insisted that the description was wrong and that one tub was the correct quantity. Also they're not accepting returns of these for some reason. I fought to try and get the missing tub sent out but they flatly refused. I reluctantly had to accept a refund, so I guess my account will be next to be targeted. This is the third time this has happened in less than a month. These deals are just not worth the time and effort, arguing with Amazon CS when they don't send what was ordered.

R1992

Exactly my words. I'd rather they have cancelled, but ofcourse..its all about making money. Just be wary :) Also do your research because I've managed to get a number of things cheaper on other legit websites I didnt even know existed! So it's ok I guess (y)

fabsaver

That's really bad trying to blame customers for their own errors (annoyed) Totally out of order and I'd be fuming if that happened to me. Like many others on here I order such bargains and have had to contact their customer services many many times when they do not send me the correct quantity. They should check their listings more carefully or cancel orders if they cannot fulfil them.

R1992

Because I consistently have been taking advantage of the fact amazon had bargains which actually in the end turned out to be listed incorrectly due to 'human error'. I never asked for refunds but they always processed refunds instead of sending me what was listed. Pre warning for those who do this too, just be wary othereise they clock on, and will close your account..

SupraDan24

I tried to order some, but they were "simply inaccessible" to me :D

Very true, agreed...

andyp350

Yea its a really calorie dense food so no good for weight loss goals. Everyones nutritional needs are different. I workout a lot and am usually working on gaining weigh (healthily) I also don't eat any animal products, so for me nut butters are a really good calorie dense food and source of fats. I track my diet using cronometer and I never eat too much sat fat in a day. I appreciate what you're saying though, someone trying to maintain or lose weight could be consuming a lot more calories and sat fat a day than they plan to if they think of peanut butter as a healthy food they can eat as much of as they like. I chose to reply to your first comment as I felt it portrayed peanut butter as an entirely 'bad' food that we shouldnt be eating, and I didnt think that was fair or accurate.

Dan210692

If you're burning off the calories, supplementing the right vitamins that you don't get in your diet or get enough of from your foods, balancing your omegas and making sure you don't exceed your TDE, eating peanut butter by the jar is an excellent way to get your protein in. Saturated fat has been demonised due to processed foods. Nut butters are great for keto too usually vegan keto if eaten by the tub though you're better off with lower carb like almond butter for keto and much higher vitamin E content. That and avoiding aflotoxins is a benefit. Your body also utilises gluconeogenesis when on a low carb high fat diet so fat burning is optimised and it's likely going to solve a lot of people's weight issues if they lay off the high GI carbs although peanuts are a bit carby. It's people who pile in the fats with the carbs that causes the issue it's one or the other as insulin is the fat depositor so spiking insulin is gonna make you gain or simply prevent you from losing weight. Keep protein optimal always though unless you are inducing keto then a few maybe even just one low protein day/days can speed it up and benefit autophagy.

firstofficer

Ok point taken. But I've seen people eating neat PB by the bucket loads thinking it's a superfood... And they think it will solve their weight issues... Yeah in moderation and with exercise, it's pretty good.. Kindest regards

andyp350

Yea but what im saying is that if you eat a healthy diet then nuts are likely going to be your only source of saturated fats so you would have to be eating a really excessive amount to be eating too much. Peanut butter (with no nasty additives) should be considered a health food if eaten as part of a healthy diet.

Also.. Bulk powders vegan protein can't be beaten. Tasty to add to porridge with honey and nuts. Or blend 2 banannas. 5 Ice cubes. Peanut butter 2 large tablespoons. (at least) 1 scoop vanilla protein powder. Splash of water to get started. 100ml maybe.. Enjoy the creamiest shake ever.. (no milk or cream needed) Have a great day. Ps: mixing one scoop vanilla bulk powders vegan protein. 80g oats. 50g walnuts. Makes. Y brekfast somewhere between 30-40g protein. (more than a whole chicken breast) so before the days started I'm feeling great. Disclaimer.. I eat meat and eggs. No dairy or hardly any dairy, certainly no milk though. Never felt better.

Just tried it. It seems more consistent than the My Protein stuff. Slightly less dense, but there isn't a swimming pool's worth of oil slick on the top either. Tastes pretty good. Toasted crumpet, some of this and a dollop of strawberry jam, cup of joe. 11'es (albeit at 1) sorted. "Hello, is that Holland & Barrett? Yes, I'd like to place an order for..."

TopTrump

Probably why they're now having to resort to reducing their prices!
