It's a good price for this item vs other sellers and I appreciate decent tools but it's a shovel and that's too limited for me even having an allotment. Personally if I'm going to shell out £30 it'll be for a spade which would be much more versatile. Hot from me but not for me.
Don't be put off Inoxx...some of us recognise quality at a good price and appreciate it.... Please keep on finding quality deals... :D
The comments remind me of a brush I bought in Home Bargains around £6. Similar is more elsewhere but the cashier thought that was expensive and pointed to a 99p broom they had would do the same job. £30 for a decent shovel is nothing if you want one. Good spot.
Worth noting that this is a long handled shovel. The length of a standard British shovel has not changed since Victorian times - but the average height of a modern British person is now about four and a half inches more than that of a Victorian.
Burning any wood adds to the pollution in the air. Wood used in buildings has been treated to stop it rotting and when burnt gives off even more pollutants. Treated wood is not recommended to be burnt in anything with a chimney as the residue builds up.
Somehow my reply got deleted but I use a 1220x1220 sheet of Aluminium chequer plate, plenty big enough for an open fire and easy to tip the ash into the veg beds, or landfill if you need it
Burning wood is carbon neutral if you cop or pollard your own trees. Renovation waste I burn on my multifuel boiler though
Legend has it if you wear a surgical mask whilst the fire is going inside one of these you survive and come out unscathed after the incineration.
Anything more robust you have found? I've been through a few of these and looking for something that will last

Good deal OP, but unfortunately these are absolutely useless. Bought one and had to take it back within a day as it snapped. Good if you're pretending to shovel.
Absolutely, that's why we are still at the same pace: lockdown, then relax. Another lockdown, then relax. What the hell is the point of it all?? Once a lockdown eases, people go mad and ignore rules(even during lockdown). Pathetic!
Please tell "your friend" to ask Homebase for advice. (y)
Yep, you are correct. I am sorry, as some of the eejits are in my age bracket. They are actually more selfish as they should know better, the youngsters just think they are invincible!
I'm close to that on Xbox. 505 bought + gamepass, gold and EA. :/
Let's not even get started on backlogs... my Steam library is over a thousand strong. (lol)
Yes I have to find some time to play it though... I have too many games on my backlog. I do prefer to play all the way through a game before moving on to the next one. Let’s put is this way, I am much faster at buying games than finishing them (annoyed)
Yes it is. Much different than Meat Boy though, it's an action platformer, has some Metroidvania elements. Not all about jumping.
It’s not just any game though... The original one is probably the game I have spent most time playing ever, so I am really looking forward to it... But I was just joking, I actually already own Shovel Knight but haven’t had a chance to play it though but I know it’s supposed to be an excellent game.
Yeh understood but I guarantee you no one will leave this around just for snow lol people will try and use it for all sorts just wanting to let people know that it really is super weak so if people are planning on buying it and giving it a go then I'd say dont the aluminum is like cheese
I think all kinds of poo in general, both dog and non-dog, it could handle with aplomb.
or dog poo (poo)
As said above, it's not meant for gravel. It's an aluminium shovel for snow, sand, or other soft materials.

I finally got both my shovels today. Thst didn't take long (annoyed)
I'm not holding my breath :/
I had an email yesterday to say mine had been despatched and now I've had an email this morning saying it's "lost in transit" ordered on the 28th June and was apparently sent yesterday but has somehow vanished into thin air, they're customer service is a joke and so are they
Lol. Result... Having just sent them an email! I've had an email back to inform me that my 2 items have been dispatched.
I've just now sent them an email to find out where my two shovels are. They can either send them soon or refund my money. Not happy (mad)
