They take the cup off you.. place it in the washing and give you a clean one. Assuming they didn't notice you hadn't bought one or saw you pick up the cup from another table.

Love it... It's all POF birds should expect anyway imo...

Why would a 'clean' cup be on a table :/ ?

Once upon a time, a coffee was just a coffee, it was brown, sometimes hot, and you poured Milk in it. 'classy' joints had sugar in cubes, wrapped in paper , dives had a teaspoon on a chain, nailed to the wall. Life and simpler then, one expected , paid and got relatively little! Any been to $tarbucks once, when offered a truly bewildering range of beverages, I looked the kid inter eye and stated "*just* coffee thanks" - he was wise ,didn't argue the point, I drank it, concluded it was nothing special, and never went back again . Defeating cafe culture, one thermos at a time!

Thanks guys, I was always getting the standard overpriced things when I felt like resting there for a while, good to know.

Put this under Amazon and it’ll go HOT!!

The Douwe Egberts espresso beans 1kg for £9.90 (free delivery) on amazon is a similar taste but cheaper.

Cheers OP, other flavours are available at the same price so I got the Colombian blend instead

Good point... but to be honest I’d never seen this offer even at normal price.

I'd swap this 'deal' to just the Amazon pricing. The Tesco price is standard and so is the free latte.

50% off food in last hour of the day and 100% goes to charity at Starbucks

How about paying fair taxes instead of doing publicity stunts ? Scumbag of a company that should be boycotted by everybody who uses the NHS or has children in state schools.

not in belfast folks

Power of the consumer. This one is an easy boycott, look to your independent coffee stores, pretty sure Costa pay tax for now... Maybe that will change with Coke taking them over. (pirate)

It sure wont be a charity to help Palestine.

In fairness most PAYE earners don’t even know how to get some tax back they are entitled to so of course it infuriates people, the U.K. tax system was built for companies more at a advantage, not people - who can’t claim depreciation or write offs or send their wages/savings to EU to pay less tax, EU serves USA more than it ever has EU people - you don’t think the USA joined WW2 as a goodwill to England the country it fought so hard against for independence do you ? Winning WW2 in agreement meant it also had open market to another vast continent. One it almost bankrupt in 2008 after decades of propping it up.

2 for £2 at Waitrose.

Same price at tesco :)

I appreciate some manufacturers probably do that to get around it and it's not good. What I'm saying is that an overall reduction in sugar (not replaced with artificial additives) in our food and drink can only be a positive thing.

but using sweeteners instead of sugar? sweeteners are meant to be bad for everyone

The idea is to make low or sugar free drinks the new 'normal'. Consumers may not like it initially, but ultimately it seems like a good thing to me.

Well this thread has attracted the rude folk who have somehow not had their messages reported so get away with saying stuff unlike me who gets almost every one reviewed and a lot deleted for saying hardly anything. This one will be ok, I imagine, becuase it's mainly when I speak at length about how my messages are moderated lots when other people can say what they like that they don't delete them. If I had said the soy milk comment above it would have been deleted.

Quinoa milk, which I have delivered by a dapper man on a penny fathing. :{

Wish I could up vote you a few times more mate (y)

I'll be in town tomorrow to benefit from this! Thanks OP!!

I’m surprised you don’t think the best coffee is Mellow Birds’. (lol)

Na, that’s fine as an opinion but as fact that is just incorrect, sorry buddy. Best coffee is small lot from around the world, usually in Africa. And best chain anywhere is Starbucks.

Free Starbucks espresso pods @ Starbucks
LocalLocalFound 10th AugFound 10th Aug
Found in Starbucks Manchester Mount street and surely many stores have the same offer... enjoy :)

Most people didn’t know that though, as they never really advertised it in stores till now, (as now they are trying to get rid of them)

They have given sample packs away for ages. You just have to ask and they give you a pack.

Would it be theft if I took all of them? (embarrassed)

Or you could add a bunch of the used ground to the cup, filter it of course and you might some coffee which was leftover (y)

I personally switched from tassimo to nespresso because you can't recycle tassimo! (annoyed) (fierce)

It’s the cheapest I can find right now (highfive) I missed out on the £2 price this time since I don’t got Tesco’s often and they’re not often that price

Beat me to it mate, they do taste good but not a good deal for the price

Because none of us have a time machine...

Still 2 for £5 in Tesco. L’Oréal are better to me. There are some new ones in Tesco too (name slips me at the moment) that are good. White packaging...

Starbucks Nespresso compatible coffee pods £1 off at Tesco online & instore
Found 6th JulFound 6th Jul
The Starbucks Nespresso compatible coffee pods are currently £2 from the normal £3. They had all blends available at this price until the 27th July.

Not as nice as the originals and about same price point. Not voting as coffee taste is subjective.

Wow. Thanks

Both Starbucks stores and Nespresso will recycle the pods ;)

They mean Nespresso isn't part of Starbucks.

Starbucks has sold this part of the business to Nestle, so there might be a bit more tax being paid but still depends on where they have their headquarters (Switzerland, I presume).

Yeah, I'll have a go for it. Thanks for the post Op. Good one :)

I've used a couple of Visa Rewards ones in the past for giftcards (definitely Amazon). I don't believe they can see what you've purchased, just an eligible transaction. Nothing I can see on this one even trying to discourage credit top up. If it helps give confidence I'll post an update next week when the credit tracks - might be in time before 04/06 when this expires, but I obviously can't promise.

The franchise thing is annoying. I bought a Groupon voucher for Starbucks and then found out the three nearest me were all franchises.

so do you have to empty the bag for this or can you get in store straightaway?

Yes, I do this all the time. The staff don't mind unless it's really busy, then I just order on the app instead. It also seems that most, if not all purchases get you a star. Back when I bought a reusable cup, the guy told me to buy that first, then I'd get 1 star and then get my first 25p off my drink.

Costa is better cos u get 10 points for every £1 u spend and the prices at costa are way cheaper.

If i am buying two coffees can i pay for one then the other after and get two stars.

Let me guess... 20% if you never/rarely buy in Starbucks cos you appreciate a good coffee and Starbucks isn't hitting the mark. I'm obviously in this category. 10% if you have bought stuff in Starbucks but according to your 'data profile' you need to buy more terrible coffee. 0% if you're already suckered in to loving their terrible coffee and you don't need a discount cos you're going to buy it anyway. :p

10% on mine

Not showing for me, it's a shame as I just went there today and will probably go again soon!

I can't get my head around the cold icy coffee fad. Eww Good deal for those who can stomach it though, heat

Still useful to have it in the title for such a limited promotion

@OwlEye Thanks for posting, if it helps you in future, using the expiry feature, when posting deals, will set the deal to correctly expire (in this case 28/04/2018). Which will save you from needing to include this in your deal title. I hope that helps.

I'm sure if you scribble that part out they won't notice, if your black you can start a riot if they refuse to give you coffee It works I'll send you proof by a YouTube video
