Following up on the above, just to confirm the cashback was in my current account this morning.

Just to confirm I received my 'tracking' email for my purchase (£20 in my case) from Saturday to confirm my 20% (£4) is being processed...

Yeah, I'll have a go for it. Thanks for the post Op. Good one :)

I've used a couple of Visa Rewards ones in the past for giftcards (definitely Amazon). I don't believe they can see what you've purchased, just an eligible transaction. Nothing I can see on this one even trying to discourage credit top up. If it helps give confidence I'll post an update next week when the credit tracks - might be in time before 04/06 when this expires, but I obviously can't promise.

The franchise thing is annoying. I bought a Groupon voucher for Starbucks and then found out the three nearest me were all franchises.

so do you have to empty the bag for this or can you get in store straightaway?

Don't know sorry.

I read somewhere they are only catering for the retail market, not stores.

Worth noting you can buy a small biscuit sepearately and it counts as a star

Yes, I do this all the time. The staff don't mind unless it's really busy, then I just order on the app instead. It also seems that most, if not all purchases get you a star. Back when I bought a reusable cup, the guy told me to buy that first, then I'd get 1 star and then get my first 25p off my drink.

Costa is better cos u get 10 points for every £1 u spend and the prices at costa are way cheaper.

If i am buying two coffees can i pay for one then the other after and get two stars.

Mine is get 14 earn 16 bonus....they're having a laugh :p

Similar offer, this time for HSBC customers but worth checking your Visa rewards page if a Nationwide of First Direct customer -

Let me guess... 20% if you never/rarely buy in Starbucks cos you appreciate a good coffee and Starbucks isn't hitting the mark. I'm obviously in this category. 10% if you have bought stuff in Starbucks but according to your 'data profile' you need to buy more terrible coffee. 0% if you're already suckered in to loving their terrible coffee and you don't need a discount cos you're going to buy it anyway. :p

10% on mine

Not showing for me, it's a shame as I just went there today and will probably go again soon!

Can't see it on mine either- not that I would have used it if it was!

I can't get my head around the cold icy coffee fad. Eww Good deal for those who can stomach it though, heat

Still useful to have it in the title for such a limited promotion

@OwlEye Thanks for posting, if it helps you in future, using the expiry feature, when posting deals, will set the deal to correctly expire (in this case 28/04/2018). Which will save you from needing to include this in your deal title. I hope that helps.

I'm sure if you scribble that part out they won't notice, if your black you can start a riot if they refuse to give you coffee It works I'll send you proof by a YouTube video

Can I use the code if paying with a card (not through the app)? I've set up a card within the app, If I scan the app to pay will it go through, like it does with Nero? Mind I don't have any balance on the Starbucks card.

This is the reusable cup I was given. Easy to cover over Starbucks with a bit of tape, if you don't want it on show. Otherwise just hold the cup with the Starbucks facing your palm. Then the image is only displayed to the world.

Got my free cup (with latte) today. Really nice cup and the lid is SO much nicer (on the lips, no euphemism!) than the plastic ones.

No reusable cups left in Dunfermline drive through

Yep. Got a tall cold Double Chocolatey Chip Frappuccino yesterday. The cup was filled to the brim. So probably got a grande for the price of a tall. If they always do that, then it may be worth just ordering a short and getting the cup completely filled with the beverage. Used my HUKD flamedeer £2 gift card winnings from the other year too. They deducted 25p from the order too. I thought this was going to be only for future refills. Anyone else find you need to be careful with putting the lid on? Mine pops up in places when pushing down. Have to keep it pressed down on one side and then push down around the rest to ensure it is properly fitted.

Cofee is a drug, not nearly as addictive as tobacco, but still adictive

are they any good?? i bought some Greggs ones and they are crap by the way, I am not a regular consumer of "coffee to go" butt will it be possible to have a Contigo (or Thermos or whatever) mug and buy cofees in these shops?

Any ideas on the likelihood of Waitrose being happy with people using these mugs for free coffee there? Turns out they're getting rid of non reuseable cups in the Autumn. Can't blame them to be honest as they are kinda inindated with people.

You can also buy in bulk (6 packs) for the same per pack price at Amazon if more suitable for anyone, e.g. I'd seen a review on there suggesting the Best Before Dates on the packs were quite close though (hard to verify) and I think you can run up to +30 days from the date on the pack to claim your free drink in store so would need to keep that in mind.

I don't care about E bay or anything I'll just have my coffee and enjoy it (excited) thx

personally i think this is a good deal if you are making a purchase on ebay, i will enjoy my coffee soon :) thanks.

Agree. Don't let it put you off. It will help some people out (y)

This place is a mixed bag - never stops amazing me when I see wild geese chase deals/OOS deals getting so much heat where people don't check at all and just vote hot - and yet at other times good deals get thrashed - well, doesn't matter much. Looked like a good deal to me, so I posted and will keep doing the same going forward too :)

I know, some people need the power of persuasion to see it's a good deal lol! . You could add something like - if spending £50 on eBay don't forget to claim this to the title. Think some people might see it in a different light as Now it just looks like spending £50 to get a £5. I know it's silly but some people don't look at it as a heads up to help them if they were spending (y)

Free Coffee Caffe Nero for o2 customers

If you are with o2 grab free coffee any size at any Cafe Nero .

Yes, there was a promo running that week for an extra stamp, if you buy a cake slice or tray bake. You should get 2 + 1 stamps for the O2 deal. If you used the free coffee barcode (not O2, the code via the app), that doesn't give any stamps, as is the case with the completed stampcard free coffee. Those do NOT award stamps

I got the coffee & cake o2 deal & also got another coffee (free as entered the code on the cafe Nero app also posted on hukd) I only got 3 stamps altogether, I thought there was bonus stamps at the moment? I scanned the app.....

Dear O2 I’m back and thanks (lol) (lol)

This has been on the packs for years. many outlets refuse to redeem them though.

Seconded. I got a couple of packs of this last year only to later discover that the 3 or 4 nearest Starbucks to me wouldn't accept them. Very misleading promotion with this highly restrictive condition hidden away in the small print.

How ironic, you criticize Starbucks for tax avoidance and then praise your 'local' boots which is one of the biggest tax avoiders there is!!!

Can't stand Starbucks, tax thieving b......d!. I think I will still be going to my local Boots who do thier sandwiches and salads at 50p at the end of the day.

I don't give two hoots about shareholders. I feel strongly that as part of a society founded on a general principle of benevolence and caring for others, that companies and those who avoid (note wording) paying tax should be more stringently controlled and taken Tuesday m to task. I believe in giving back. People like you, clearly don't. Different strokes.

Do you think share holders give two hoots about morals? With my own business I pay an accountant very well to get my liabilities down as much as possible. I am sure Paul Nikkel who owns this site and quidco etc does the same too .. if you were a family earning £50k a year and claiming child tax credits like your entitled to, do you think that's morally correct? After all they don't need it and the money could be spent on better things? My own mother in law is disabled and the government provides her with a car, she uses it once a fortnight to do her shopping, the last one she got had done only 522 miles in 3 years, clearly it would be cheaper to get a taxi once a fortnight, is that morally right? You can attack and find faults with every sector, I don't blame Starbucks, I blame the system. Infact the biggest tax evaders are Google, Apple, Microsoft, IKEA and Amazon, so I hope you don't use any of theirs products or services? Because that would be morally wrong (y)

Yeah, just jump on the bandwagon that avoiding taxation is strictly not illegal therefore ok, despite being morally bankrupt, with the government supposedly doing everything to allow it to continue.

Mines 2 for 2 - any purchase counts in these things so if you normally grab a bottle of water or something it will count towards your points- you can get more than one star that day ( I have had around three in a day no problem)

How can you buy beans that have probably been sitting in the packet for 6 months. Plenty of websites out there that roast to order. I got my eletta delonghi delivered on the 27th.. ordered the beans on the 25th (Christmas day).. the packet says they were roasted on the 27th and they arrived on the 29th.
