I got a ridiculous 14 for 16 or 17 for 24! I think I got tripped up for buying some gift certificates they day they sent the email out 😡

exactly the same thing happened to me, odd

Weird. I had to collect 6 for 10 free or 11 for 15 but now they have sent me a new email with increased amounts. 12 for 16 free or 15 for 24 free.

Halifax / Lloyds Cashback Rewards - 8% @ Costa, 5% to 10% @ Starbucks, 5% @ Sainsburys (some with accounts seeing minimum spend) plus more

A few new offers have appeared for me today, I'm sure others will see older or different targeted new ones too. The ones I see include: * 8% @ Costa Coffee - expires 31/12/18 * 5… Read more

Just a heads up. My bank cashback recently had a 10% off at an Asda food store and I decided to pay my bills through payzone using my card and it gave me the cash back. ( I did buy a food item for a quid just to track it, but it gave me the full £25 on the £250 I spent on bills.

I see, thanks! No good really because I have a cashback credit card, so all my retail spend goes on that...

You might see more offers if you use your credit/debit card at a variety of retailers. E.g. if you sometimes shop at supermarket A, you might see an offer for supermarket B next month.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but I've only ever had cashback offers for Waitrose, Harvester and a bunch of Santander products...

I think even with the money off they are cheaper via Amazon.

I got a free sample of Starbucks capsules and I already buy l'or and Nespresso capsules. I got to say, until Starbucks sort out the quality of the capsule itself. It is not worth it at all. It tears or brakes too easily, and leaves you with the mess of coffee grains everywhere.

Cheers for that. :)

Plus lor currently have a 35% off black friday deal...

Not a fan of these in my Nespresso machine. L'or capsules work better and are on a cracking deal today.

The mention about this often being £2.50 when on offer in Tesco etc - that used to be the case, this year £2.75 seems to be the new 'on offer' price. E.g. see current screen shot from MySuperMarket below. Amazon seem to price match at this level for the pack of 6 (6 x £2.75 = £16.50). I don't think this deal should be voted as cold as it is, so heat from me.

£2.75 in Sainsbury

£3.50 at tesco x 6 = £21 so this is a good deal delivered TESCO BEANS

£3.50 at tesco

Cheaper than this stuff at £49.80 a kg WTF

Look, there's no need to get technical about it 8)

Yes, exactly. Buying this pack entitles you to redeem the empty bag for a latte. So it's not a "technically free" coffee as there is nothing "technical" about it, it's just a good old fashioned free coffee from Starbucks when you buy this pack. You dig?

Nope, it's technically free as your buying a product to get it.

Think it’s the price! Not a mega deal as this is the price you can get them for on amazon (buy 6)

the voucher is on the pack right OP? If so, this is not sainsburys specific, its been this way for some time. I have definitely had at least three lattes over the past couple of years by using the voucher on the pack.

Not something I would expect in a national hotel chain.

Just stayed at the Bournemouth one. Fantastic as always. Breakfast was great!!

Oh I was thinking of the Glasgow one for Xmas and Boxin day as an escape... chiling in spa while everyone stresses elsewhere... now im not so sure!

I can honestly say, having eaten in 3 different Village hotels, the cooked breakfasts in each hotel tasted awful. Honestly, the sausages and bacon, have no taste whatsoever. And before you ask why I had a cooked breakfast in 3 hotels when I complain it is so bad, the answer is because I thought (wrongly) on each occasion maybe it was a one off. After the 3rd attempt I gave up, concluding it truly is the worst cooked breakfast out there. By all means go for the cereal and fruits... they cant get that wrong can they???? Surely not.. (shock)

Nice, I'm out shopping tomorrow and I'll see if I can get an eggnog latte, the best thing in any coffee shops festive menu imo. I wouldn't have known about this if you didn't post. (sorry, I mean to say: why are you posting this, it's not a deal, do you think you're something special? Same, it's what I order when I go to starbucks. I'm sure they might have thermal jugs, I have one and keeps coffee warm n fresh for hours, not that it lasted that long 😁 Handy deal for people who work from home and want to get out for the day ha

You could just look up the info yourself....

Or maybe someone who works from a laptop who can do a day shift in there 😁

It's filter coffee, though they do seem to brew fresh quite regularly. I have to say, I much prefer filter coffee to americano etc..... I don't see the point in watering down an espresso.

Anyone tried this in store? Id like to top ul £150 to get the maximum. I don’t quite get the terms, it says valid for own time use. Whos going to spend £150 on coffee in one go?

I tried weeks ago to top up the app, and did not get any cashback. However, I must also say, that I did not top up the app in store, instead I topped up the app online. I wonder if that was the issue...

Can someone conform whther it works topping up the app or not. I spend a fortune on starbucks, might stock up

Can't see where that's excluded...

That would be considered fraud as it's clearly excluded in the terms and conditions. Kindest regards

They take the cup off you.. place it in the washing and give you a clean one. Assuming they didn't notice you hadn't bought one or saw you pick up the cup from another table.

Love it... It's all POF birds should expect anyway imo...

Why would a 'clean' cup be on a table :/ ?

Once upon a time, a coffee was just a coffee, it was brown, sometimes hot, and you poured Milk in it. 'classy' joints had sugar in cubes, wrapped in paper , dives had a teaspoon on a chain, nailed to the wall. Life and simpler then, one expected , paid and got relatively little! Any been to $tarbucks once, when offered a truly bewildering range of beverages, I looked the kid inter eye and stated "*just* coffee thanks" - he was wise ,didn't argue the point, I drank it, concluded it was nothing special, and never went back again . Defeating cafe culture, one thermos at a time!

Thanks guys, I was always getting the standard overpriced things when I felt like resting there for a while, good to know.

I'd swap this 'deal' to just the Amazon pricing. The Tesco price is standard and so is the free latte.

How about paying fair taxes instead of doing publicity stunts ? Scumbag of a company that should be boycotted by everybody who uses the NHS or has children in state schools.

not in belfast folks

Power of the consumer. This one is an easy boycott, look to your independent coffee stores, pretty sure Costa pay tax for now... Maybe that will change with Coke taking them over. (pirate)

It sure wont be a charity to help Palestine.

In fairness most PAYE earners don’t even know how to get some tax back they are entitled to so of course it infuriates people, the U.K. tax system was built for companies more at a advantage, not people - who can’t claim depreciation or write offs or send their wages/savings to EU to pay less tax, EU serves USA more than it ever has EU people - you don’t think the USA joined WW2 as a goodwill to England the country it fought so hard against for independence do you ? Winning WW2 in agreement meant it also had open market to another vast continent. One it almost bankrupt in 2008 after decades of propping it up.

I appreciate some manufacturers probably do that to get around it and it's not good. What I'm saying is that an overall reduction in sugar (not replaced with artificial additives) in our food and drink can only be a positive thing.

but using sweeteners instead of sugar? sweeteners are meant to be bad for everyone

The idea is to make low or sugar free drinks the new 'normal'. Consumers may not like it initially, but ultimately it seems like a good thing to me.

Well this thread has attracted the rude folk who have somehow not had their messages reported so get away with saying stuff unlike me who gets almost every one reviewed and a lot deleted for saying hardly anything. This one will be ok, I imagine, becuase it's mainly when I speak at length about how my messages are moderated lots when other people can say what they like that they don't delete them. If I had said the soy milk comment above it would have been deleted.
