Disneyland Half Term

Posted 22nd May 2023
Hi all.

Maybe someone can help. Last minute decision to try and go to Disneyland Paris ( 2 adults, 2 children) over the coming half-term for 4 days (between 5-9 June), but prices seem crazy! Don't mind how we go (live Southeast - can drive, fly or Eurostar), or where we stay (AirBnB, hotel). Anyone have any suggestions on how to minimise cost? Are package deals better? DIY it? Any particular websites for cheaper tickets? ANy advice would be useful. Thank you all in advance!

We've been 4 times this year. We drive and stay in AirBNBs near Val d'Europe. Anything near "Aparthotel Adagio Serris - Val d'Europe". Its a 15 min walk to park from there.
Driving is a doddle and if you have Tesco Clubcard you can use your points for ferry/eurostar.

But your tickets are going to cost a small fortune. We have annual passes at £300 a year but they are not available atm.

Shame they stopped those. Would've worked out the same price as a 3-day ticket.

I just looked and yeah hotel prices are crazy expensive. Villages nature center parcs has a cheaper apartment but it is only for 2, there's no sofa bed.

May I suggest port Aventura as an option? I've just seen on their website it's about €600 for 4 nights for 2 adults and 2 children, which is an on-site hotel and tickets. Flights are about £150pp...so total cost about £280pp for flights, hotel and tickets.

We were there on the first day of strikes. If you haven’t booked yet, don’t. The strikes suck if you want to watch parades, meet characters or watch shows. Disney aren’t budging to negotiate with cast member unions.

Also for anyone looking to book, checkout Facebook groups like Disneyland Paris for Brits or DLP SEND groups if you receive DLA or own blue badge/access card. The priority card is the best thing ever at Disneyland.

I stayed at HNY, so clearly not looking for the cheapest option but having stayed at Residhome in Val’d Europe, I would say it’s quicker from there via the RER (only €2.15 each way and 1 stop only).
