Not sure what you're actually saying there but having vWii homebrew installed doesn't affect Wii U or Wii U online play at all - not sure about Wii U homebrew.

You need to hack the Wii U's Virtual Wii. After that you can play your GameCube games from the SD card or USB hard drive using the GameCube controllers.

The Wii U doesn't natively support GameCube games out the box, however all my library appears to work fine with Nintendont once you have the Homebrew Channel up and running.

Quite tempted by this, is it only Blue at that price though?

Yes, the other colours are about £65-£80, depending where you look; I guess "Elsa Blue" isnt popular - except with pre-school girls with a Frozen fixation.
(that will be my daughter then!!)
Great price. I got one from Amazon a few months ago for £65.

One word of note - it might be a small form factor case but it absolutely isn't a small case. If you are looking for a tiny mATX case, this isn't it.
Quite tempted by this, is it only Blue at that price though?
I have this in black. It just about houses my EVGA G2 650, make sure you check the length of your PSU. I think the max size is 165mm. Great case though, it's silent, fits in my massive cooler (Dark Rock 3) and 300mm GPU.
It's a pretty good case, I've had one (White on white with side window) for 3 years now.
Here's the review OP mentions:- tomshardware.co.uk/dea…tml

Stuff to remember:-

Mini-ITX & Micro-ATX motherboards only, which fit horizontally.
Top will take a 240mm radiator for water cooling
Limited depth for PSU
Racks for 2x 2.5inch SSD & 3x 3.5inch HDD

It's only better if the user prefers to use AA batteries to a wired controller. I'd wish they allowed to connect Classic Controller Pro to the console than to the damn Wiimote.

The Dev Wii U kits do have the port, so it does exist.

People who want it specifically for vWii only, like, I bought a PSTV to play PSP/PS1/Emulators so I couldn't give a rats ass about the Vita games it can play. The vWii looks a lot better and the picture quality of Nintendont for NGC seems to have improved as the dev team's working on it so it's better than buying a Wii.

But everything in vWii mode is rendered at 480p and upscaled to 1080p, so the result is effectively the same as using a Wii with a component cable at 480p and having your HDTV/receiver do the upscaling. The Wii U may handle the upscaling slightly better but the general consensus is that the difference is negligible. So the question is, is the negligible difference worth £100 extra? Or £40 extra, if you're going without the GamePad, but again, I don't see why you would get a Wii U without a GamePad because then you're removing the option to play Wii U games - or even if you're only ever going to use vWii mode, you'd lose the option of playing everything on the GamePad, which can be useful.

Well yes (and it's ridiculous that the GamePads cost as much as the … Well yes (and it's ridiculous that the GamePads cost as much as the console) but who would buy one without the GamePad? I mean, yes, they're great for emulation, but all of that stuff runs in vWii mode and it's all the same hacks and exploits that were developed for the Wii, so if you're going to buy a console for retro gaming you might as well just get a Wii for £20 or less - it will do exactly the same things. I've been playing emulated SNES and Mega Drive games (beyond what's officially available on the eShop) on my Wii for years and initially I wasn't too interested in getting a Wii U (at least not until the new Zelda is released), but then I realised that you could softmod it in the same way, so I could just transfer all the content from my Wii and pick up where I left off. Then it was just the lack of GameCube support that put me off, so Nintendont was the deciding factor for me - basically, once I realised that the Wii U could completely replace my Wii for all purposes, I was happy to upgrade. But all that said, I still bought it to play Wii U games - otherwise it would have been a £100 upgrade for no reason, other than having a 1080p HDMI video out. Not that I've been able to afford many Wii U games so I have mostly been using it to clear my backlog of stuff I had on the Wii but forgot about!

Who? Easy. People who want it specifically for vWii only, like, I bought a PSTV to play PSP/PS1/Emulators so I couldn't give a rats ass about the Vita games it can play.

PDP’s “Wired Fight Pad” controllers are Wii U controllers that are designed to look and feel like Gamecube controllers. They have a similar shape and button layout, and come in Nintendo-styled themes like Link, Samus, Donkey Kong and Wario. A Wired Fight Pad controller plugs directly into the Wii Remote and will work with any Wii/Wii U game that supports the Classic Controller, the Classic Controller Pro.
