Seems a timely reminder that anybody with some formal training (Off-duty healthcare worker, policeman, first aider) can download the App on their phone and you can become a First Responder for any life threatening emergency. Which will basically involve simple first aid, and basic life support.
You might actually save a life.
The 999 service will send a message to your phone via the app and ask whether you can respond. It will show the distance away.
I appreciate it is obviously unpaid BUT you might just be free to help out with a medical emergency a few hundred metres away and make a real difference.

Just to have a think about! I've done it for a couple of years and been to a handful of cardiac arrests where the paramedics were very grateful for another pair of hands.
