Weed killers

Posted 16th Jun 2023
Hi, can anyone please recommend a cheapish weedkiller. Tried the bugger brands which are excellent but expensive. Any none branded or unknown gems? Thanks

After that any product containing glyphosate will be one best weed killers available. You can buy it in bulk quantities from places like eBay. Glyphosate is one of the main ingredients in roundup.

Depends on the area to clear and if you have pets...
Personally I prefer the mechanical method.

Iitres (dilutes to 150litres) cost me around £30 a year ago and will last about 10 years! (edited)

I brought some grit salt over winter and all of the reviews were 5* for its weed killing ability. Which I assume is on gravel or some solid surface and not grass.

    Been using rootblast for years.

Kills pretty much anything a couple of weeks after spraying

Rootblast 360 is amazing. It even reliably kills bramble. Handle with care and gloves/eye protection
