It's happened on self scan as well before, had it happen mainly with weighted items. Meat is the most common item for the system to prompt a price check for.
That is always possible - but it doesn't explain why my scan on self-scan required them to manually enter the price? Too much of a coincidence - looks like they may have spotted it early and changed the computer (though if they were changing it, they could have changed it to £3.50 rather than manual (confused) ).
Wow that is cheap but i think it may we a wild goose chase to find it anywhere else? Who cares how much fat is in it this is a deals site and its a top deal!
Depends OP never stated if they went to a manned till or self service. If it was a manned till theirs every chance the till system may have prompted operator for the price and they have missed a 0 when putting price in. Had it happen in past where till system prompts member of staff to verify the price on weighted items.
Shouldn't this be expired if it's been fixed.
