Farming Simulator 17 released in 2016 and still has monthly online peaks over 10,000. That's better than a lot of AAA games! xD. I imagine you can use the button panel to do stuff if for some reason you hated voice attack.

Part of me wants to figure out how to play Stardew Valley with this kit, hah. Might work pretty well as an overall control kit if you rebound stuff to macros and the like since there's a fair few controls in this kit, but that'd be pretty niche use. Niche use for niche hardware. (embarrassed)

High spec not required.

Hmm, do I spend £130 on this, plus £1,000 on a decent gaming rig so I can enjoy playing an almost realistic farming simulator? ... or do I just become a farmer and get paid £25,000/year for an even more realistic experience?

Heat added, a great piece of kit. If I never had my t500rs and a extreme 3d joystick I would have got this!

I was using the steam controller when playing elite. It worked pretty well. - A LOT better than mouse \ keyboard.

Is this is the old model? I think i have this in my garage. Bought it many years ago. It is a good product!

I never could get on with this stick for the year or so I had it. Although I'd struggle to say why tbh. I ended up paying more and getting the Thrustmaster Warthog which is admittedly in a different league price wise (as well as quality and performance) It's a thing of beauty and it was worth the cost to me given what I've spent on DCS World software at this point. But this isn't a bad price for somebody who wants a half decent option with plenty of buttons etc. It has the benefit of a twist function also for rudder input which is fairly handy for more casual gamers who don't need the hassle and cost of separate rudder pedals.

I went with pimax 4k great piece of kit Little gripes here and there but wow what a difference

Only thing I am not keen on with this joystick is the twisty stick. Much prefered the rudder control on the throttle as with the older versions! Good deal though!

it is pretty decent, but only my thoughts ;-)

If it's anything like the X55 then I'd personally steer clear.

hmmm I t yped HOTAS into youtube , and it wasnt about joysticks (well , in a way it was) These are expensive tho.. not as much as a cessna ..but...

I'd recommend anybody looking for a HOTAS reads some reviews on this one before spending anything.

Also for Elite Dangerous

Logitech G Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System - £94.99 @AMAZON

Was just considering buying this at £135 as it never drops and then in front of my eyes it dropped to £94.99. Soooo lucky! Bargain bagged for christmas!

Great find!!

Is the 2 year guarantee from Amazon or Logitech? If it’s Amazon, then I’d say no (just my opinion)...I’d guess the standard 12 month warranty... But if it’s from Logitech themselves, I can’t see a reason why not...I expect you’d simply register it with them to start the warranty... I’ll I’ll find out on Tuesday when mine arrives...

Does it have the same 2 year guarantee?

And if you go for one of the Amazon Warehouse listings for this (I bought the “Like New” listing, which basically stated it was pristine), the current warehouse 20% off deal is applied, and this comes in at £72.95... Couldnt resist at that price!

Can get used like new for £70.60 from Amazon warehouse to save a few more pennies.

Annoyingly, I can't get these items shipped to my address (Teesside) or collect in store - nice work, Currys.

Ah yes, I see the benefits in this then. I wish him all the best in a great career (y)

My son is in the ATC and has always loved flight sims. Will be flying for real next year

Nice find op. Some of us non-middle aged home-owners like flight sims too ;) hehehe

"Kids" actually ask for this for Christmas? I thought these things are more for middle aged single men living at home with their mom. Or people who are training to be a pilot and want as close as to the real thing in their home to practice on their flight simulator.

Seems to be £122.41 now

You're slowly convincing me... Now I just need one as cheap as this :p

I'd still recommend the newer X55 in that case, it's simply newer tech with some very nice touches for flight sim fans and a nicer throttle than the X52 as well as stick. They had issues with it early on but the build quality and reliability is much better now.

Good point about the fine control. Thing for me is ease of use and longevity. I don't play Elite or Star Citizen, just FSX and X Planes, and most of the planes are Tube Liners on autopilot :p Back to the deliberation.....

It's a real shame shops these days don't let you try them out. You're absolutely right about how it's subjective. I have a T16000M, CH pro throttle (imported from Amazon US for <$75) and Saitek Cessna pro pedals. I did try out a lot of devices but then again I've got a lot of flight sim friends who have tons of different gear so I went for what I liked rather than a set. The biggest issue for me with the stick in all honesty is fine control, the X52 stick really is lacking at that, it has the utility but fine control is no where near as accurate as even some cheap sticks. I do love my hodge podge of peripherals though, Elite: Dangerous and Star Citizen (well Arena commander) are great fun now.

nice spot. been looking at these for ages. this is a good price so I've finally ordered one. thank you.

Nice one OP - have ordered one. Have been thinking about getting the Thrust master Warthog for some time but couldn't justify the cost. This one is much more palatable and comparative reviews of the two have similar ratings, with the X-55 being less that half price.

Well done. I was looking at these last night and they were out of stock, so there seems to be a really limited supply. Best of all is that it's cheaper than the Saitek X52 pro...Get in there!

I bought these for my daughter's PC three weeks ago, quite expected them to be rubbish, as it turns out they are pretty good as the only volume controls are the actual volume slider in windows itself it stops her messing with it (big problem with previous speakers where she blew them cos was always messing with volume controls.) i'd rate them about same as most £10 speakers, but as they are very small (about size of satsuma oranges) thats a bonus.

How can return mine got wii 2.1 and those are OK for me. Theses are. Not Louder than laptop speakers. Typing on touch phone San Fran

Just done a search for webcam and found this, its back in stock so ordered, I have rated, thank you

didn't get this one but thanks for the link to the site

Cheap enough - though with my experience of webcams/video chat, if you're going to bother doing it at all get something half decent, very little point in doing it if the picture/framerate/sound is so bad you can't even make each other out! The main problem I had was very poor indoor performance - even with all the lights on. I had 3 cheapish (sub £20) ones - all went in the bin, I bought a decent Microsoft one and have never had a problem.

if only it wasn't pink... voted hot though!

has it got built in microphone or video only thanks
