arrived today, what a bargain it's the latest Logitech RGB model https://www.logitechg.com/en-gb/products/space/x56-space-flight-vr-simulator-controller.945-000059.html
Doesn’t seem to be available at any Curry’s, at least in the South East
I've got a venerable Microsoft SideWinder Precision 2 Joystick that I bought to play X: Beyond the Frontier, 20 years ago, and it's still in good working order. I recently thought about buying Elite Dangerous, as I loved the original as a child, which is when I had my eyes opened to the current pricing for joysticks (or Hotas, if you prefer). Given that I'd have to buy a new PC rig to play the game in the first place, the thought of spending several hundred more pounds on a controller has put that idea to bed. I'm struggling to understand why the prices are so high for what is a relatively simple piece of engineering. Not that I'm knocking anyone who buys one, I can see the appeal, but it might have to wait until my ship comes in.
I think there where some hardware tweaks to improve overall quality, from what I’ve seen in some Reddit posts (y) 🏻
Is there much difference from the Saitek pro x56 rhino and the Logitech x56 Or is it mainly rebrand
