I've been waiting patiently for eGlobal to stock this White version! Very underrated considering price bracket imo. + potential 2.1% TopCashback: https://www.topcashback.co.uk/eg… Read more

This or the note 8 pro 128gb? (confused)

The warranty is only on some phones. The phones that eGlobals buys in Europe it seams. Very interesting. Glad dude got the email back

Nice. Though I'll stick with my warnings for eglobal until such a time someone actually tries to use the warranty :D

also @MrSwitch pleasantly surprised to have received this email from Xiaomi UK... "" Upon checking here that the phone “Cross border warranty capability” As long as it would be activated here in UK this phone will be covered here in United Kingdom " The Mi 9 Lite I received seems to be factory sealed so I guess it will have UK warranty upon activation :)

Ordered mine Sunday, hoping delivery won't have any issues or take too long. Their estimated 8-10 days seems a bit ambitious from Hong Kong.

I'm loving the idea of this phone, but it's still cheaper here: https://www.eglobalcentraluk.com/xiaomi-mi-9-lite-6gb-128gb-dual-sim-blue-en.html £205 for 6/128gb. Both Ali Express and eGlobals warranties would be questionable though. Just to be aware.

IMO this is a beast of a phone for the money. This is the Global/International Version, so has Google Play etc as standard. Only negative is eGlobal's warranty seems a bit dicey. S… Read more

What is the difference between the mi 9 se and the mi 9 lite. Are they the same phone?

Size, weight, battery, SD card and camera are the main differences. Personally I prefer the size of the mix 2s.

this or the redmi note 8 pro? camera not that important (although would like something decent if pos), but I would like something fast for under £200

Should I go for it or mix 2s from Mr switch deal. Camera and screen the main players. I don't play games.

White available here but £270 and will probably incur customs charges: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000188534678.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.1.7e513751VqMd1b also 128gb for £310

@Samurai Great result all round. Nice one!

Update on the Warranty. I had an email back from Xiaomi UK and....it has full UK warranty?!?! This does contradict the previous communication but that is checked on the S/N and IMEI. Below is the email: Greetings from Xiaomi United Kingdom Customer Support We thank you for contacting us, As we have checked all the IMEI and S/N that you provided all of it shows that it is under warranty with XIAOMI UK So, maybe eglobal have found a way around it.

Nope, no import tax or duty. Was delivered by Hermes. The tracking never showed it being in the UK, just ambiguous 'couriers warehouse' then had an email from Hermes saying it was out for delivery.

128GB versions in Blue or Black have been reduced to £204.99 How are eGlobal selling them so cheap compared to all the other outlets?? I want the White one but at this price I could settle with any colour! @Samurai was there any import tax to pay?

To Update... I received the phone yesterday so 8 days from order to delivery which isn't too bad. First impression are good and the screen is very nice. The blue swirl effect is also cool. Notch not really too much of an issue and the camera seems good so far. In terms of MIUI then yes, the launcher is pretty bad. No app drawer and just dumped all my apps in random over about 5 screens. Taken me ages to sort it out in to some kind of order im happy with. I'll stick with this for a few more days then look to Nova or similar. I've emailed Xiaomi to check the warranty so will report back.

This is what the mi A3 should have been, the 64gb is a fiver cheaper on the Geekbuying site. No band 20, and I'd imagine is the Chinese version, though it doesn't state, for an ou… Read more

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/173959823308 Flashed Mi CC9 with 128gb storage for £237

The OP himself admitted it's a poor price so why not ask an "expert" Also this is probably a flashed Mi CC9 as the Mi 9 lite has band 20, the CC9 doesn't, so this deal is not even for the actual phone named! My issue is more someone posting a deal they admit themselves is poor on here. If I want heat I go on holiday!

Why is it a poor price? I've given you numerous reasons why someone might prefer the Mi 9 Lite over the Mi 9 and Mi 9T / Pro. You obviously value the CPU over everything else and that is personal preference. No need to keep harping on.

My deleted post asked why if the OP knew it was a poor price and was only posting it to let anyone interested know it's out then why not put that disclaimer in there

Have a good evening :)
