I was thinking of replacing breakfast and either lunch or dinner with Huel. I like the convenience, time saved and that I'll be getting a balanced nutrient meal. I'm not sure about the cost saving. I've read people eventually get bored having the same shake every day but I don't think that would bother me. I'm wondering if I'd get gas or diarrhea regularly. I wished they'd do a trial pack instead of having to pay over £50 to get started.
TIA.

sorted byI enjoyed huel at the start and was really into it. After a month of Huel for breakfast and lunch. It really startes to get boring. Like yourself I really thought I wouldn't get board but I did.
Tbh the process of making the huel the night before for breakfast, takes roughly the same time to make sandwiches in the morning.
Your digestive system will hate you the first week but will recover lol. I didn't get diarrhea but quite the opposite!
Cost wise again tbh, I find it cheaper buying food. I tend to eat 2 pieces of fruit for breakfast and sandwiches at work. Which I spend well under £10 a week.
I hope that helps you a bit. I'd also say if your curiosit. Try it! All the best
Two scoops normally.
I guess 3 to 4 meals a week.
Particularly after just cycled home late from work and want something quick.
I have the bars too. Will often have one bar with it to give you something to eat.
I used to just have the bars but the shake is more balanced and as above... Got back into drink after a proper blender.
You could always try a ready to drink from Sainsbury's and maybe some other supermarkets (edited)
I live to eat and look forward to eating. Its a pleasure but do think about what I eat and watch my weight. For that reason it's not for me.
Oh, and the farts… Safe to say, it wasn’t for me. (edited)
Then liked the ready to drink ones and got a proper smoothie maker from gumtree and now shakes taste like the ready to drink ones.
I became vegan about a month ago and my bowels have just about settled XD. I probably should have slowly transitioned but I didn't think it through. I'll probably at least give it try like you did and see how it goes.
Do you go in to detail about calories and nutrients that you're taking in each day?
How often do you take it? How many scoops?
Huel isn’t designed for weight loss really. It is meant to be predictable calories, so as you say you can monitor how much goes in and make sure it’s less than your body uses.
I tried Huel a few years ago, it’s like thin porridge really. Not too bad and fairly filling. But did get the farts (edited)
