I have a Sainbury's Grocery order for click&collect this evening. I had used first time voucher (£15 off), a £50 Sainsburys gift card and remaining by Debit card.
Now Sainsburys have added a substitute for one item, costing £12 more than the item I had ordered. They have informed in the confirmation email that they will give a refund if I refuse substitution. Noting my payment mostly consists of voucher and gift card, will the refund be to my debit card or will they nullify the amount saying discount voucher was used?
I would rather have the refund to my debit card but also not lose the voucher value if higher cost gets deducted from it.
Please can anyone share their experience, if they have come across a similar issue?

Noting your comment, I am interested to know about your purchase of so many cokes. Did you buy'em for a party or for yourself............very unhealthy those (edited)
