Any tilers on here that can recommend a good grout brand for kitchen tiling please?
Tiles used - porcelain.
Also should an expansion joint be used?
There is underfloor heating as well if that makes any difference.
let me know if you need any more info.
Thank you in advance.

Do you know much about Kerakoll?
Our tiler said Mapei isn't good but from what i've read it is :s
Never had tiles in kitchen floor before and just want something that will be long lasting and durable that's all
I used to hate at times when customers would buy products that I never used or hardly use as you can't judge the final colour, set time and product quality.
I would probably say you go with the tilers recommendation as If he is choosing a certain brand it would be from experience. There isn't a price issue as grout isn't used in large quantities so a few pound here or there shouldn't be the issue.
Is Kerakoll a brand you've heard of/used?
It makes sense about the tiler using a brand he is already used to.
I agree. I guess we just want to make sure the grout used is durable and lasting. Since we have never had tiles in the kitchen before so nervous about colour changing, water resistant etc.
Just to add there is underfloor heating if that makes any difference. (edited)
Total floor area is 50sq meters. But that's split into the shape of the kitchen which is L Shape plus goes into the hallway and cloakroom...we dont have any doors apart from the one from hallway to the kitchen...
There is underfloor heating if that makes any difference. Thanks. (edited)
