All inclusive recommendations for famillies

Posted 18th Jun 2023
Hi. Due to getting married and COVID it's now been 5 years since we have been on holiday abroad as a family. We have just managed to get our passports renewed and are looking to book a short notice all inclusive holiday with a short haul flight.

Can anyone recommend somewhere ideally that is no further than 3-4 hours flight, has a beach close by and a great pool with slides your the kids. The kids are 7 and 12. Prefer a resort or town within walking distance.

Just had a quick look on Jet2 and all the options are making my head hurt.

Our last holiday was to seaclub Mediterranean resort in majorca which was lovely. Hoping to go somewhere other than Majorca.

Thanks in advance 😃

I've only been to Turkey once. That was to Marmaris on a lads holiday years ago. I did not like the place and have been put off turkey by it. I would consider going again now though.

Is there any particular hotels you recommend??

Tenerife, Hard Rock Hotel or GF Victoria and they have the world's best waterpark (Siam Park). Alot of the hotels do free entry to it as part of the holiday as its not far from the resorts.

Bulgaria can be cheap and has a reputation for being a bit mental, but there are some great hotels there.

We stayed at Rui Helios Paradise last summer and our 7 year old girl really wants to go back to that hotel. Would certainly recommend if it's in budget.

There was water slides, but theres also a massive water park nearby too. (edited)

I hope you have saved up plenty of money prices are really high compared to pre covid, now folks aren't scared to travel anymore.

Best time to go was just after lock downs ended at where ever you wanted to go. Had a good few holidays that season

    Canaries are still reasonable.
