A few drops of olbus oil in a bowl of steaming water, breath in through the nose - eventually it will unclog.
Nebulisers or atomisers can work too

Go to chemist and ask for Menthol Crystals and drop a few, and I mean a FEW, grains into the bowl of warm water and it will blow your mind and every cobweb away in the cavities.

Careful though. Don’t ask for Meth Crystals - you will be arrested.

If im not in pain i use this

When my sinuses are playing up I first use airwaves chewing gum the menthol ones it's surprising how good it works. If I'm really bad and it doesn't work I use boots sinus relief

Nasal lavage (nose wash). You can make it yourself with boiling water, salt and bicarb...leave it to cool then use a syringe to put 20mls up each nostril. There's also sterimar available at your local chemist or nelimed sinus relief wash.
It's a strange feeling at first but it does work. My ENT consultant advised me to try it many years ago.

I swear by sterimar breathe easy nasal spray…it’s a sea salt solution and does the job better than any steroid nasal spray or antihistamine for me.

I got this and it didn't work for me , still using as it's 100 percent natural I guess but I'm not sure if it's adding to my mucus /congestion

since getting covid in february i have a constant nose block at night. some nights i found it difficult to breathe through my nose. i had asked on here and people recommended that I see my GP and get the saline nasal spray. i haven't got round to it but since the warm weather i have started to take antihistamine for hayfever and insect bites and i have noticed a remarkle disappearance of the nasal congestion at night. nasal congestion can also be cause by the body immune system over reacting so antihistamine can help with this.

maybe try hay fever tablets and see if that helps.

Neilmed sinus rinse! It was recommended to me by the ENT specialist for congestion and it is amazing. Feels a bit strange the first couple of uses but personally, I got used to it pretty quickly and I found the congestion relief it offers is excellent. You can buy kits including the bottle from Amazon or Boots. (edited)

What does the doctor say? Feeling blocked up can sometimes be mucus but it's more often inflammation of the nasal passage which narrows it making it difficult to breathe. This could be rhinitis and with that, often the nasal sprays that are prescribed by a doctor can take up to 3 months to start working (edited)

Doctor didn't recommend steam at all gave me some steroid spray as said use that for a few weeks and then rang me back and said you might need to use for a month so he sent another prescription. To be honest it didn't work at all, perhaps slowly but for me that wasn't fixing the issue. Steam and other advice on this thread have helped, at least I can breathe from my nose now, still a bit blocky and runny but Better

I use a small lump of Vicks in a bowl of hot water. With a bath towel over my head and the bowl so that the steam is maximised.

Longer term solutions can be cutting out dary or bit of nose surgery can help.

They aren't keen to do sinus surgery as the results are only good for around 5-8 years. It's only performed in extreme cases.

For quick relief, really strong mint chewing gum works for me.

For long term, beconase spray is the only thing that works for me. It takes a week or two to be effective, so dont give up after the first couple of days like i did
