Octopus

Posted 1st Jul 2023
Hello Everyone, hope you're all well!

I live in a Housing Association Flat, and am moving from LPG to Electric Storage Heaters. I'm currently on Octopus Agile but am in the process of moving onto Octopus Tracker Tariff.

Does anyone know if I am able to stay on one of these tariffs with storage heaters please? I have to get a new meter installed to get a day and night rate, but am really hoping I can stay on one of the tariffs listed above, as the rates for day and night is so much more! I haven't contacted Octopus yet, but will be this following week to see what they say! Just wanted to know if anyone has any previous experience and help me what to say!

Thank you in advance

Hey, I saw this pop up and thought id come and give my experience, We have storage heaters no gas connection and are on Agile, we can shift our usage hugely with me working from home. Youll just need to make sure you have smart meters at your new place.
Im doing great thanks too, hope you are?

Thank you so much for the reply! That's brilliant thank you, I weren't sure if I was able to stay on Agile so that's great news! My Girlfriend works from home and I got quoted something like 18kwh for the night rate and 37kwh in the day time which is just too much personally! Great to hear you're great though, I'm good too thank you for asking! Thanks again for the reply
