My trusty old Samsung 49" is finally on its just legs, back light is failing badly.
I have a voucher for work for long service etc so I have about£1k to spend(or less)
Not a brand snob as have couple of hisense TVs in other rooms. Was looking at the Sony around Xmas time but the 2023 models have come down since then.
Will be wall mounted biggest is 55" maybe 60" at a push(space for TV to go)
Room is bright in daytime big window (dark at night obvs) anti glare/anti shine screen would be a bonus
Will be used for Live TV, films, sports & firestick (no gaming)
Don't mind spending out if it lasts as long as my old one, nearly 9 years
Have blue light card access too so any deals on there might sway the choice.
Pref deal with sound bar if the TV speakers are crap
What we all thinking?
TIA
