Best is rissole, chips and gravy, but when I left Wales I walked into a chip shop and asked for it, and guess what, spent 5 mins explaining what it is. Can't buy it anywhere and hardly anyone knows about them. Every chip shop in South Wales has them. London......no chance.
"Rissoles can be found in chip shops in south Wales and north-east England. Rissole and chips is a common choice of meal. These rissole are meat (typically corned beef) mashed up with potato, herbs and sometimes onion. They are about the same size and shape as a scotch egg. They are coated in breadcrumbs or less frequently battered and deep fried."

A small-mix kebab(chicken/lamb) is quite simply: superb. I have chilli n mayo and lashings of fresh salad with mine - extra raw onion.
