Interested to hear more about this. I see the wireless ones at Richer Sounds are back up from £149 to £199. They were out of stock locally when I tried a couple of weeks ago. Are they going to be back down this weekend

Definitely WIRED. Wireless are £172.99 on same site. Sorry

The ones the link take you too are wired not the wireless version. The wired ones can be bought cheaper elsewhere. Cold sorry :(

Had a set for a couple of years now, had to replace the pads with some from eBay as the original ones lost there coating. Use them with a Plenue D and they sound great with good sound isolation ideal for flying with. They are a bit big though so no lying in bed with them on

Same here, I use a Little Dot I+ headphone amp, as I find the headphone sockets on most devices disappointing (for these, and other headphones). The sound is just mushy and indistinguishable in comparison.

Yeah they are awesome, only thing is I use headphones in bed and these were just ridiculously sized

You officially succeeded

I have had mine for a couple of years now and there still my goto set of headphones. I like their natural/neutral presentation across all genres of music. Powering them from your average smart phone doesn't really do them justice so i bought the dragonfly external DAC to get more out of them and those 2 together sound great.

Used very good for c. 146 from amazon warehouse. Bargain.

Nicely put sir. They do require a dac/amp as well if u want them to work at 100% :)

Beautiful headphones to be sure, although not for everyone and certainly not bassheads although they won't need to spend this much to get the hit they need. Definitely worth an audition if you can!

How does this compare to the samsung tab s2 t813 with snapdragon processor not the exynos one?

really good deal. No-one else is bundling the AKG wireless headphones. On Argos website the headphones do not show unless you click the 'view special offers' link. If it wasn't hidden they'd have sold a lot more. Deal runs out Tuesday night - 27th

Lots of differences, different processor, 3GB RAM instead of 2GB, longer battery life. Performance far better etc... https://www.phonearena.com/phones/compare/Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A-10.1-2016,Samsung-Galaxy-Tab-A-10.5/phones/10047,10961

How does this differ to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Inch 32GB Tablet for £159, other than .4 of an inch?

The force is strong with this one.

I bought some. I have tried so many headphones from Sony, Bang and Olufsen, B+W, Grado, Powerbeats 3 and these are the first Bluetooth headphones that actually really exceptional. They sound like a wired (wireless) pair. I can see why What Hi-Fi gave them 5 stars. Bass is deep and punchy (rather than slow and lumpy). Midrange is clear, treble is superb. They are a superb pair of headphones. By default they use AptX in OS X. I switched to AAC and the sound was pretty much the same but there was lag. Delay test: Turn enable or disable AAC or AptX try (OS X only): Terminal commands for enabling AAC and aptX CodecsTo enable aptX, input the following command, press Enter, and type your user password if prompted: sudo defaults write bluetoothaudiod "Enable AptX codec" -bool true Alternatively, to enable AAC, input the following and press Enter: sudo defaults write bluetoothaudiod "Enable AAC codec" -bool true To disable either codec via Terminal, simply replace -bool true with -bool false at the end of the command.

They looked on the website and pointed out that it was only on the galaxy. I didn’t notice the offer while the S3 was in stock so I thought they were right. But if it was showing on all of them then they should honor it. If anyone has any screenshots that would go a long way, but I’m not gonna keep my hopes up ;(

That's not right. It was available on all the watches, I was checking regularly. It's up to you but you could go in and try it with a different member of staff because it was 100% included.

You should have stuck to your guns and asked them to show you exactly where it states that ? as it doesn't !

No luck, they didn’t refund me the 50. They said it was only for the galaxy watch and that it didn’t apply to the S3. So bummed out (fierce)

Hey, I'll swap you my AKG Y50BT headphones if you aren't happy. I was just going to sell them anyway.

Well Very sent me a Lenovo Ideapad 130S, not the headphones - not sure if this is a mistake or an alternative because the headphones are out of stock? Order slip and online order details both say I'm getting the headphones? Absolute shambles of a company - I rarely use them, after this, I'll never use them again!

Hello all I had order confirmation that I would receive the watch and headphones but only received the watch. I rang Very customer services who said the headphones are out of stock and basically tough luck. Surely they cant advertise a deal and just not honour it? I wouldnt have bought the watch from them if the headphones wasn't thrown in. Can anyone help on this please?

Thanks and ordered (y) Hopefully get about £60 for the headphones on eBay, making the watch approx £273 :) Also, prefer to order from Samsung UK to guarantee a UK version of the watch.

Or buy from eGlobal for £154 and avoid the need to sell anything :p

This also works for students with UNiDAYS as there’s a 10% offer on right now.

Sell the headphones for about £60 making the watch £173 ish.. A great price for it.. Or keep the headphones The watch already had a spotify app and tidal launched last week - so it is a capable music player, even without the phone..

For £329 (at full price) the iPad 5th generation is the best tablet choice without any competition. Android phones are better than apple’s devices though.

Thanks for the post. I was hoping to find something quite special this year but have to agree with some of the views above, i.e what is the point of this tablet. I have the 10.1 2016 model which I got fairly cheap and is fine, but for the money Samsung want for this model, they really ought to up their game. Unless you go high end, most manufacturers seem to lacking effort when it comes to this size of the tablet market. Not voted

Since a few weeks I've been looking for some tablet to replace my beloved hudl 2 and finally bought mediapad m3 8.4 last week. You can get it from argos on ebay for £200 4gb ram, amazing stereo speakers, good batt and screen, fingerprint scanner etc. I think it's hard to get anything better for this price. Anyway, I wouldn't touch this samsung with barge pole. Just do a homework and read some reviews online.

Price might be good but I got those headphones on a deal and they fell apart with barely any use. The design just seems prone to failure.

You only pay 68p for delivery, so worth a punt. I'll leave them at the side of my bed, just in case I want to watch something late at night.

You haven't got the ones being sold here because their fakes. The genuine AKG earphones are decent enough though but that's not what's being sold here.

It seems that there are a tonne of fake Samsung AKG earphones in circulation. On eBay the prices range from 99p to £10 plus, all with variations of the phrases OEM/genuine/original in the title. Can can anyone vouch for a cheap non-fake pair? I think I lost mine in Sainsbury's

Better than the crappy poundland earphones that only last you a minuete until one of the speakers blow

Defo fake for that price

Agreed that they're more expensive, but at £10 for a real pair of earpods, I would much rather those than the real akg earphones that came with my Note 9.

I've just sent a pair of these back to amazon an bought a pair of sennheiser hd 599 I instead. It's not they're a bad pair of headphones, just not for everyone as the sound is a bit flat. Saying that they are designed to be flat.

Please genuinely be careful, I have a pair of these. Google online, the right headset has a wire which detaches over time, if you are not adept at soldering you will end up with a dead right headphone in 3-6 months. Otherwise, a pretty decent headphone. A better braided cable is available from dealers on ebay as well for around £5-15.

After a quick google search it seems like these are usually around this price anyway. Still though, these are amazing headphones. At this price range I would be tempted to go for the Beyerdynamic DT990-Pro, I got mine at around £105 and much prefer the sound stage.

A great pair of headphones. Good bass and treble. Battery will last a long time also. A little tight though but well built and heavy. A very good pair of headphones at this price.

This is a fantastic price for these headphones. I paid £99 and I thought they were a bargain then. Voted hot

I've had the wired version of these for about 2 years. They nice and compact, but as others have said can get uncomfortable after very long periods of use. They offer a nice balanced sound but sound can leak a little. I would still recommend them, especially for this price.

I've had mine for over 2 years, they're well built and are quite comfortable from my experience (daily wear). However, the padding is coming out, I'll superglue it back but thought I'd make potential buyers aware of what could happen: Heat added!

Had Y50BT for a several months, paid 99 from richer sounds. Love the sound quality and battery life is immense. They're hard wearing too, I've scraped them against things several times and the headphones are still flawless condition. Negatives are they are uncomfortable after a while and give me a headache (never had this problem with any other on ear headphones) and there's an annoying recurring beep when the battery goes low (but still hours of use left). Oh and the power button location causes the headphones to turn on when folded for storage in the supplied fabric case. That said.. can't go wrong at this price.
