What's the best website to learn how to cook from scratch?

I'd say YouTube. However, YouTube can be a double edge sword. There are an equal amount of useless, clueless, 'chefs' who haven't a clue what they're doing who proclaim to be top class chefs than actual top class chefs who actually know how to cook.

Try to learn the basics well and the rest will follow. Many people make the mistake of trying all the complicated foods without first understanding why certain methods are used and why in that particular order, etc.

Get a subscription with hello fresh for a month. By the end you will have a shedload of easy recipes and will learn lots of basic skills

Definitely don't take any tips from Kay's cooking on Utube

Think of your palate and what foods you like. Try and be creative. Start with basics like a tomato sauce, once you've learnt the base sauce you can add anything you like, mince, veg ect..I first think of what I fancy eating then go from there when planning what to cook/shop for the week.
