A competition from the energy drink maker Monster may have leaked the Xbox Series X price.
The small print stated "the total of all first prizes is $119,998, and there will be 200 first prizes awarded."
The prize(s) are a Xbox Series X and a copy of Halo. $119,998/200 gives you $599

sorted byThem rumours have now been binned. all false from salty Xbotz.
Your looking at a 2080 to play the most demanding games in 4K 60fps. Do you want to pay £1K + for your next console? 4K gaming is a waste of resources for very little gain, the consoles will optimise resolution and frame rate as they do now.
I'm not buying in to the next gen this year anyway, especially after just building a new PC. But I look forward to actually seeing what's inside those cases.
Rubbish GPU? where are you getting this information? it’s RDNA2 refined silicon. it will do gaming at high fidelity fine. Xbox GPU was hitting equivalent to 2080 super on gears 5 unoptimised after 2 weeks.
I'll give it a go. I have 5g in a spot just outside my house and a Samsung A70.
Performance is relative, we're decades past the power needed to render a simple scene in 3840x2160@60fps.
So performance is dictated by how complicated game developers make their graphics and that's determined by popular hardware and popular demand.
The game consoles certainly have enough potential influence to make that a the standard that every game meets, but there probably isn't the customer demand.
Huh... actually it wasn't too bad, but am I stationary. A bit depressing that loading times haven't improved. Gave Air Combat 7 a quick go. Mpegging wasn't that noticeable, even when I nose dived into the ground and exploded. (edited)
I would like native 4K also but I can’t see that been the case with RT and high frame rates. but they need to add modes for 60fps which knocks down RT and res. some games will look better than other natural. I think people will be please with the new consoles ( bang for buck ) unmatched. 3090 will be £1200 so isn’t a comparison to £499 consoles. a card compared to a entire system and 4K uhd player.
You also shouldn’t expect a console that costs £499 to be doing 4K @ 60 on ultra that’s straight stupid. what you will see is game that on console look incredible with the power of RDNA2 and ZEN2. this isn’t a underpowered notebook cpu from 2011 in PS4 This is desktop class cpu. Not mobile. Xbox has some incredible specs for the £ no pc on the planet comes close for the money will cost atleast 2X to get the performance
but won’t be more than £499. They won’t make the mistake they did last time of being £100 more than ps..
Ps 5 is struggling to play native 4k @ a steady 60fps..
I hope they sort it. But both consoles will struggle in theory they are using a mid tier gpu in them..
Yeah let's hope it gets sorted
I've got Gamepass but sold my Xbox, can I use my Tablet or laptop somehow?
The 2080ti doesn’t get 60fps @ 4k in all games now. Yes consoles optimise but that will only do so much.. play a game in 1080p vs 4k there is no competition so I don’t get what you mean by gain. With ray tracing, hdr and 4k. games will look good but will be lower FPS with those gpu..
I’d rather pay more and get something what will be better..
Yes sometime in September it will be released stream games to any device
Just had a quick google. Wonder if my s8 will be powerful enough!
Well yes because the phone is not responsible for the graphics it's on a cloud so the phone is just streaming a game you can play,a good internet connection is a must thoghe (edited)

Imagine when it’s on a mobile device over a network..
Of course they are going to say that, I’m not just saying ps5 but also Xbox wait and see. The hardware in mid range, what can’t do 4k 60fps. I know consoles will get optimised and don’t play on ultra like pc’s but they will struggle..
Xbox will be in same boat. Look at the hardware. Yes fast ssd but rubbish gpu..
Ok, not long to go and you will see neither console will hit 4k gaming @ 60fps in all games. The 2080ti can’t do it now. It’s going to be up to developers if they run at 60 or 30 with the latter opting for better graphics but lower FPS..
Let us know how it goes please..
2080ti can do 60 in quite a few games at 4K. you have to remember console optimisation is key. also doesn’t have to be native 4K can be checkerboard 4K which saves 50% on GPU resources just gives a softer image presentation. I think many games will be 4K 60. Spider-Man confirmed 4K 60 mode and GT is 4K 60. has a 120fps mode.
so you agree the 2080ti cant in all games, even with optimisation console games will look nice but wont hit 60fps in all games. forget checkerboard the hole point was to get a console to fit the needs of 4k gaming these wont, once you add ray tracing and hdr it will be worse on the gpu.
i get people are exited about a new consoles but they will be a dissapointment to what they are getting made out to be. i'll buy one just to say i have and play halo single player when it gets released meant to be 2021 now... but i'm more looking forward ro the rtx 3090 which is meant to be at the end of the month, hopefully a true 4k card...
i wasnt trying to compare, but hopfully that will hit 60fps @ 4k on ultra. unlike consoles.
It will at the expense. you need way over 2,000 pounds for that. Consoles will do just fine with graphical fidelity for the £.
i'm not disagreeing consoles for the money are good value, its just the fanboys think they are going to be all that. obvisouly the companies hype them up but hardware tells a diffrent story. the 2080ti was £1200 and that dosent deliver 4k @ 60fps across the board on highest settings.
300Mbps, but is the ping low or high?
But my point is valid all the fanboys think these are the answer to 4k they are not they are sub 4k standard @ 60fps, not in all games but in some. That’s my first point you tried to disagree with which is fine but just look at hardware it can’t be done in all games.
I think they will look good but not what these companies were saying they were going to do. They still say 8k ready they should be trying to get 4k sorted first..
