Joop! Homme isn't as potent as it was, but still is pretty long-lasting (if you like cherry bomb scents, this is the one - though it was a bit like Paco Rabanne 1 Million at one point, everybody seemed to be wearing it!).

Any clone of Balafre from Lancome, many moons ago ?
Really puzzles me when people ask for any recommendations regarding taste and smell as they are both so very personal that no one else can make an absolute recommendation. Imo. Find out what ingredients you like smell wise and search fragrances that contain it. So I like patchouli and ylang-ylang so that's what I search to narrow it down then take it from there.
Tabac original ( must be original, there's a horrible version that is like fly spray). A classic perfume/aftershave for men, I've been using it for 50 years (yes 50 I am that old) .
Not tried these but these are my list, once I have time to go to a fragance shop and smell them:
Ralph Lauren - Polo Black Gio Armani - Acqua Di Gio? (not sure on spelling) CK - Eternity for men Prada - Luna Rossa The Nue Co. - Functional Fragance Hermes - H24 Paco Rabone - 1million Lucky Chanel - Bleu de chanel Maison Margiel? (not sure on spelling) - Replica / Fireplace Versace - Eros All Saints - Sunset Riot Burberry - Touch

old spice ,,,grand dad smell
I used Aramis deodorant stick for 40 years (girlfriend insisted I use it....). It was my one indulgence given the price, but it appears it is no more. I have had whiffy arms for a few months now since the last one ran out (used to by several at a time usually in dutyfree).

But Jean Paul Gautier is nice. Possibly called le male. All I I remember it being a blue bottle.
I also enjoyed one called dark rebel.
Best to hit a perfume shop though.
