Apologies for this, i know about the issue and have no idea as to why it in the Nintendo switch section as i have not selected it

Not sure why this is coming up in Nintendo Switch deals, there have been reported issues with using unofficial power supplies, I wouldn't want to risk it.

Yeah i agree, but if anyone is looking for a QC3 powerbank then this is a good option

Looks good price, but I wouldn't regard it as worthy of being called a significant reduction like lightening deal implies...

Weight has become one of my primary considerations for a portable charger. Needs to be circa 250g

Seller not allowed here . Yes it has jump start feature.

I'm actually thinking of mounting one of these in my car to power my dash cam(s) 24/7, then hardwiring a charger to this so when the ignition/engine is on its topped up so your comment was useful, thanks :)

'Decent'? That's £170! For that money I would hope it makes my car fly and all!

The 5 in 1 has a smaller battery capacity but it does have 5ghz WiFi, USB c (some reviews say it can't be used for data transfer) and one click sd card backup.

One of the best little gadgets I’ve bought. Had it for over a year so not sure what gen it is but we use is in the car with an ssd hard drive with films on for the kids. Both can watch different films at the same time or even watch the same film but at different stages. Think it will stream to 5 separate devices but not personally tried. It’ll work under its own steam if you charge it up or you can power it from a micro usb via the car cigarette lighter socket. Can be used solely as a power bank, I use it as an emergency charger for my PS4 if it goes down whilst playing and have grabbed it many times on the way out of the house to charge a flat phone or iPad. I’ve transferred camera photos from an SD card to iPads with it whilst away so we can see them on a bigger screen and with memory prices coming down so much now I’ve even contemplated getting a large SD card and doing away with the HD all together which will make it a very compact portable WiFi streamer. I paid nearly 40 notes for mine and it’s been worth every penny. Drew

Doh. Was gonna retry. Definitely gone now. On different note, is this version better than the 5-in-1: RAVPower 5-in-1 NAS FileHub with 3000mAh Internal Battery Charger (NAS, Power Bank, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Media Sharing, SD Card Reader) … https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07K19CZRQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_2xPcCbXHG3BQW

I just managed to get one off the waiting list. No £3 voucher though, but still happy.

Both orders have been delivered and I sold RAVPower to a friend for £20.00 so that's £3.00 profit and free power bank for me thanks for the post heat added and happy weekend

The blue lights should start flashing to show its charging, maybe try a different charger or usb lead! It charges only on the micro-usb port (small connector in between the 2 larger usb ports.....

I don't know. There was qualcomm and also a Oukitel K6000 I have (it broke) which had something called 'pump charge'. I think iSmart is another standard I'm unsure really. Seems probable `

BTW, I don't think "iSmart" does anything that any other charger can't do. All devices will draw as much current as they can take if it's available, and no more.

Amps X Volts = Watts. 30 watts = 6 amps at 5 volts.

Is there a way to know what amps these things put out. I need a minimum level of amps to run say 3 devices, one off each port, they always just say watts though, maybe there is some equation?

It's a good price, but sadly doesn't do quick-charge for Google devices, e.g. Pixel.

wrong this has the same hardware as the old version so nothing really new about it as it only charges iPhones at 5w the actual newer version charges iPhones at 7.5w

So does wireless charging degrade the battery and phone?

our last one died yesterday and the wife's phone only charges through wireless as the usb port is broke, so the few pounds saving isn't worth the inconvenience of a return this time, but normally i would do (y)

return it mate its not the end of the world.

Ravpower (this one) is a lot better. I would normally buy anker but their output for type c is too low for charging laptops. Rave power and anker are my personal best brands for power banks

This deal or this hotukdeals.com/deals/26800mah-pd-power-bank-usb-c-qc-30-quick-charge-portable-charger-charges-macbook-pro-2199-amazon-3119397 Which one is a better deal? Thanks

I’ve got two of these, brilliant power bank, can charge my phone & laptop with it. I had a bad cable and contacted support and they resolved the issue quickly. One thing I recommend is that you have a decent type c charger to charge the power bank, dropped to 4 hours to recharge it instead of 8. This one: anker type c charger plug

I have one of these and they are very good best yet , lasts ages and I like the quick 3 hour or so quick to charge it back up via usb c , however it does not support true fast charge for iPhone X,8 etc as this is only 2.0 and you need 3.0 quick charge . It’s still as fast as a wall charger though just not the 0-50% in 30min , heat anyway

I think so.

Doesn't have to turn into a heated debate. Rupert asked a valid question when you definitively said it was bad. I would like to know whether there are facts to that claim. It's just that I read an article suggesting that it's not so clear cut. It states that if you top up from 50% and don't charge to the max, then it would be better for the battery. So my fuzzy logic concludes that maybe a slower wireless charge be more beneficial because you would be less likely to hit 100% as quickly and you can top it off by slapping it on a wireless charger during the day. :) http://www.komando.com/happening-now/446244/does-wireless-charging-damage-your-smartphones-battery

Ok no problems I will take a look (y)

I feel like if I say any further, this will turn in to a heated debate XD. I'd say there's arguments for and against wireless charging - please do look in to this on google.
