Not a bad price for the black sim free S10 plus as retailing for 899 at most places.
mattturner756

Yeah genuinely. eBay always doing 10/15% off codes, this and music magpie is around my price. Keep an eye out for a 10/15% code as these are generally once or twice a week and you'll get one. I got my S8+ last May for about £340 in "good" but it had nothing of note negatively and came in the original box from them.

da_murphster

I've been looking on eBay and not seen anything in decent condition for this price? Care to share a link? Are you sure they are the 'plus' version?

MrSwitch

:D there's plenty of deals to go around (cheeky)

Excellent price. @MrSwitch , you've got a contender for your crown. ;)

mattturner756

You can generally get these refurbed on eBay for £500-550. After Xmas probably be down even more. Not been out for very long either so can't think the phone will be in bad condition.

If it has to be EE then you may as well go with the 60gb for £100 more over the term, but you can get better deals with other networks with similar amounts of data.

RaptorsWorld

I’m currently paying an astronomical fee per month from EE for a iPhone X and am looking to make the switch, this is not far off half what I’m currently paying. A 12 month sim only with 50gb from EE is £24 so that would make the phone £19 per month making the phone similar price to this but new plus extra 10gb. My other option is 30gb data and £36 per month but you gotta pay £99 for the handset. What would you do? You obviously know your shit!

MrSwitch

Looks decent if you're after an s10+, I personally wouldn't pay £43pm for a contract. But 60gb EE Data is really good

It has taken them until today to come back to me and no explanation at all as to why it was supplied like this. I have an returns number now and they are collecting it tomorrow for a full refund, now struggling to decide on an alternative phone, am tempted by the Huawei P20 pro deal you posted earlier, but still a tiny but weary in case Trump stops them getting software updates. Anyway thanks for all the deals keep up the hard work, do you ever rest from searching out phone deals?

MrSwitch

By new I meant another phone, not brand new, that would just be silly. I buy used phones then sell them, and I don't find it a ball ache, I find it takes time, but if you're patient, like I am, then it's all good :)

spenspuma

Good luck selling a second hand phone for more than new price after 3 months... Also...changing phones is a real ballache having to transfer everything, I hate doing it every 2 years so dread the thought of every 3 months.

Bravo! Looks like I’m ordering one of these then! Cheers for your help!

bigup

Have tested a Vodafone 5G sim and Wifi Calling and VoLTE also work (only 4g of course)

bigup

Are you in a VoLTE area? You know it’s working as it’s stays in 4G when you make a call. i don’t have the option to turn off Hd calling either. But I think Hd calling is the same as VoLTE and I have the option to switch this off under mobile networks menu.

dancake90

I'm on three also. I received 2 config files, one MMS+internet, the other IMS. VoWiFi is fine, but VoLTE doesn't seem to be working. Also no option to toggle HD voice on/off (not sure if you're seeing that option or not).

bigup

What network are you on? as soon as I put my Three SIM card in, three sent 2 configuration sms files to install

Ye me 2 im a heavy user so 5gb isnt enough not to bothered about 10 vs 10+ as only difference is screen size and slightly larger battery thats literally the only difference so if a super deal comes for s10 i would consider it over the plus, hopefully either phone comes on a deal soon just with a bit more data. In complete fairness to eGlobal Central, they responded next day to update me, the Hermes tracking system magically updated and the phone is now with me.

Theo.Cupier

have emailed them today. Will see how it goes.

kieranfr

Well you have to email them for a response, it's possible that they will tell you that it's being held by customs that's what they did with me. They wouldn't let me refund either, i'm still currently in the chargeback process as they are denying the charge saying that I haven't returned the phone. When the courier never even recieved it, absolute scum company I won't ever use them again. Ended up buying one for £850 from samsung directly instead.

Theo.Cupier

Ordered mine on 8 June with their usual "delivery in 6-8 days" service. According to their courier, they are STILL waiting for the item to be handed to them by eGlobal... first time ordering from them, quite possible my last at this rate. Tried to contact them but the "raise a ticket" links on their "contact us" page don't seem to work and their FAQ says that once you have a tracking number, they don't get involved any more - will presumably claim it's an issue with the courier, not them.

rooney10

If you paid with a credit card you would be able to claim through your credit card company with section 75 protection if the retailer did not repair your phone under its offered warranty. For me, this acts as my warranty. I am just about to go through this now as I sent my phone for repair to a repair centre in the UK , through e-global. Just got it back (after no less than 6 weeks!) and the phone still has the same fault , its like they haven't even looked at it. No documentation or anything, just my faulty phone returned. I am now demanding they refund me in full or I contact my credit card for a full refund, as they are equally liable to resolve the issue for me. Phone was 11months old when I sent it for repair , its now over 12 months but this should not matter in this case as the issue was reported whilst still under warranty. (y)

Bokstas

They are based in Hong Kong, trading standards won't help here. Could order same phone from eGlobal £95 cheaper, oh well....lesson learned, and my last phone from eGlobal came in 3 weeks, no warranties of course, but £130 cheaper than here in the UK. And I am happy!

b4dr1

Thanks for bringing this up. Their website says otherwise. Should have reported them to trading standards and got them sued for some good money

Bokstas

I bought from Wow Camera Samsung S9 last year and when checked with Samsung serial number, have been told NO WARRANTY here in the UK. :(

i can't afford anywhere near what the 5g variant costs. but if you have the money and want the absolute top tier atm, its gonna be tough to beat the s10 5g

Pwhite76

Sure, but you're paying a premium for those so called upgrades.

vvojak

the 5g variant of the s10 has a lot more hardware upgrades (larger screen, battery, 25W charging, 4 cameras, etc) so its not necessarily just for the 5g speed.

Spriggan

Is it me or have Eglobal stopped selling the 128gb Snapdragon version?

Pwhite76

If 5g is what you need, then great. However, for most 4g is more than enough. Don't forget it will take time to roll out 5g, it won't happen over night.

Difference is UK model gets you sought-after UK firmware (gutted I didn't get it on my German Note 8, some tech wizards are able to flash it, not me)

ref1ux

Wowcamera's reviews aren't that great tbh. I'm comparing to buying one off Amazon or CPW when it's a full UK model from a reputable retailer. Anyway, it's moot - my original post was just to say that the S10 Snapdragon supports wifi calling and VoLTE fine on EE, which is good for those importing from Snapdragon regions.

xavierluther

Not quite that much, check S10 Wowcamera deal, European model with full warranty

ref1ux

Of course. eGlobal is somehow even cheaper than buying an S10 or S10+ in HK yourself, but at least if you get it yourself you aren't having to deal with eGlobal's somewhat non-existent customer service. It's still a few hundred cheaper than buying an S10 in the UK, and the same goes for the S10+ which can be had for a bit more.

Locutus

But that's just an S10, not the plus version, so there will be a price difference.

That's a PITA. I haven't heard anything. My CC company (Tesco Bank) told me eGlobal had to provide evidence of delivery to raise dispute. As with you I have had no phone, the only tracking info I've had is a Yodel link from 25/04. This still shows they have never received the parcel nevermind claim to have delivered it. Hope you get it sorted.

kieranfr

They are disputing my chargeback saying we cannot accept the claim as customer didn't send back the item. I hope you are having better luck. even the tracking link that eglobal provided says it hasn't been delivered so i don't know why this is still going on.

People attacking students, the vast majority of people in the UK shouldn't be spending £600 on a smartphone every 2 years; it's crazy to think how much people spend on a gadget they've been fooled to think is a necessity yet they struggle to pay the bills every month.

Don’t mind the misleading false comments of those two. German / any EU Samsung warranty is valid in UK. it’s Samsung products from outside Europe that aren’t valid here.

German / any EU Samsung products warranty is valid and serviced in UK and vice versa.

Not true. Samsung warranty for Europe is same regardless the country. so German warranty is valid and serviced in UK.
