Dunno if this site even allows this but basically i have loads of sealed 3ds games and loads of open ones i need to get rid of. Looking on ebay some go for 40 quid a pop!

So i really need to take a pic of each one and list it? Its 2019 ffs

I have the last 10 years of pokemon and zelda games sealed along with many rpgs i just didnt bother with. The 3ds went obsolete by the time my son aged to play it :/

Any tips would be nice, obv im going for max profit but would sell the lot in a chunk too.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "So i really need to take a pic of each one and list it? Its 2019 ffs".

Anyway, you have a choice of either selling the games individually on eBay or instead selling them as one bundle all together either on eBay or Gumtree, perhaps you might find that easier. What you can do is look on CEX for each game to get an idea of the kind of price that each one is worth. Look at their selling price and their trade-in price for a particular game, somewhere in the middle is probably what it is worth when selling it. By the way I'm not sure why you are describing the 3DS as "obsolete". Nintentendo still sell the 2DS and 2DS XL (which are basically 3Ds consoles just with a normal screen rather than a 3D one) and there were even some new 3DS games released earlier this year. Many people still play and enjoy their 3Ds games, there's absolutely nothing stopping you from giving your son your 3DS console and a Pokemon or Zelda game to play through and enjoy. (edited)

Well he has a switch and doesnt play with that. Weird thing is the new 3ds xl still had 80% charge after over 2 years of no usage!!!

Gumtree is nice but i think some of these games are collectors games specially the sealed ones. Googling them they all sell for around 40 quid each. I doubt people on gumtree would pay that but i dont wanna stick them on ebay i havent used it in years dunno the fees and stuff anymore... do you still pay if it doesnt sell? I maybe sell the 3ds too in a big bundle with case and charger. All basically brand new. Didnt expect these to be worth this much money tbh kinda shocked.

If you want to make the maximum profit, then you should keep all your sealed games for as long as possible. They definitely won’t go down in value if they are rare games to have sealed. Making a few quid now seems pointless unless you really need the money.

eBay is probably your best bet. They have £1 final value fee weekends and days sometimes. Other than that Facebook marketplace or sphock xx

Yeah i have 4 days left on the £1 ebay fee but dont think that covers everything? If i list for 35 quid minimum and it doesnt sell do i still pay a quid? Ill just undercut the lowest priced one for each game and mine are sealed too.

Never heard of sphock will give this a google thanks!!

No they won’t charge unless it sells I’m pretty sure. Unless there’s an insertion fee but that wouldn’t even be a £1. I’d say eBay is your best bet for getting the item out there and noticed. Things generally sell for more on eBay than they do gumtree and stuff imo I’m no expert lol x (edited)

I really wouldn't bother with Sphock if I were you. You want to list your games somewhere that collectors will see them, eBay is the platform for that. (edited)

For maximum profit, use eBay when there are the selling deals on, but remember, PayPal will still take a percentage of the money you earn. For biggest convenience, see what they go for at Cex or musicmagpie. But you won't get as much money that way. Or, as has been said before. Just wait. Sealed Zelda and Pokémon games and probably RPGs will be desirable. Personally I'd keep it. I still like going back and playing old games even though I have a switch and a Xbox. But also understand clearing out clutter.
