Filter out fake profiles on FB Marketplace

Morning guys,

I wonder is there any filter available on FB Marketplace to avoid fake profile.

My search on a Laptop results in mostly fake listing by profiles created after year 2020 those selling all over UK and in Pakistan.

Any advice to filter out results (I already blocked over 10 profiles but it's like a never ending situation).

I think if it were that easy to filter out or remove fake profiles, then there wouldn't be any fake profiles. I’m not on Facebook so just a thought

I find the easiest way is to select condition options when using marketplace via a web browser. This filters out most the fake adverts for things

It's a cess pit at the moment, I could put a dining table on there or light fittings and get 1 or 2 enquiries. Stick a tablet, camera or printer on there and get about 20+ a day. Sometimes they get ignored or if quiet day and slightly bored we take them on a full journey.

But even those we take as far as sending fake emails saying payment on hold or PayPal business and you need to send money first to get more money back, We have reported every single one inc messages and profile and not a single one has ever been removed, every time response from Facebook states it hasn't violated any of its policies.

But given recent horrific shooting in the US and what social media companies did in the interim doesn't surprise me one bit.
