Rice maker

Posted 24th Jun 2023
hello I trying to eat more rice rather than potatoes and I am quite enjoying rice 😄, using brown rice.

now I have a ninja foodi but I thought dedicated rice maker be better,as I like the keep warm feature on the rice maker so it's easier.

now I only need it for 2 ppl, tho no one likes small portions 😄.

I looked at this one but reviews put me off, anyone got good recommendations.

easy to clean as well please like the ninjas.
Many thanks

I use a Yum Asia Bamboo and it's honestly one of the best things I've ever owned. I use it like 3 or 4 times a week at the moment and it's incredibly tasty. Really simple to use. Just wash and chuck the rice in, add a certain amount of water, then choose which rice you're cooking. (edited)

I've got the yum Asia panda and it's brilliant and relatively small but not cheap (I paid £90)

1 cup of rice, 2 cups of water, 10 mins, water absorbed, cooked.

Ours is in the back of the kitchen cupboard after a few uses. Asda's own brand and extensively efficient, did what it is supposed to.

We use this one all the time and it's been a game changer. Perfect rice every time. Super simple to, with just one button. I could never get rice to turn out the same twice in a row, unless it was crispy concrete.
I had a look at Which? and a couple of other review sites, and bought the Yum Asia Panda for £99.90 off Amazon, and used Cardyard to save another £3.
My rice is now consistently good, irrespective of type, and I have eaten more rice since the start of May than the previous year because I am happy to eat it. It also helps reduce the food bill, especially at £13.50 for 10kg.
I often do double portions as it takes around the same time as one, then have egg fried rice the following day

I have just posted this one after reading your thread. Looks good to me for a branded name and cheapest I could find. I don't know if users have hands on experience of using this particular one
