Virgin media volt package O2 SIM card not received

Hi,

I would appreciate some advice if possible. My new virgin ultimate volt package was installed yesterday but I still haven’t received the O2 sim that was sold as part of the bundle. I don’t need the sim and would sooner just pay £60 to virgin and not pay £25 to O2 for a SIM card that I don’t need. Should I contact virgin or O2 about this or just assume that I will only be charged for the services that I am getting from virgin as no SIM card has been received or used?

    If you've entered into a contract you'll be charged accordingly wether you use the services or not.

    Thanks for your reply - I was concerned that I may still be charged for the sim even though I’ve not received it

    You should've had an email from O2 regarding the account. Mine was sent out and received within about 2 days but I must've had about 8 emails regarding registering in the app, O2 priority, sim dispatch, billing date etc. If you've had none of these contact VM as the contract was initiated through them

    Thanks for your reply - I haven’t received any emails about the O2 SIM card. I’ll contact virgin tomorrow to see what is going on

    Give it a few more days. Many mail deliveries have been delayed. I received a renewal credit card within 2 days of being dispatched but the renewal debit card is yet to be delivered after 5 days.

    Many thanks for your reply - I’m going to try to contact virgin today as I ordered the package on 8 September but haven’t received anything from o2 yet. I did delay the install until last week so maybe they don’t post the SIM card until after the installation date :/
